I have no complaints.

The location was fantastic. We were able to park the car and walk around Main Street and check out the shops and have a drink. It was a very quiet location and building. We were in the Mint room and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced. Walker was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Whitney prepared a delicious breakfast and was also very friendly.

Some of the light switches in our room didn’t work, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The rooms are beautiful, breakfast and afternoon baked goods are always delicious, and the location for Bar Harbor and Acadia Park is perfect. Walker on the front desk is super friendly and helpful- his customer service is second to none.

Lucky to find this one on arrival in Bar Harbor in peak leaf peeping season. If you like history, this place is for you. Two town houses beautifully converted into bed and breakfast accommodation with historic furniture and hiding away just behind the main street. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, especially Marina (all the way from Serbia) and Walker. Breakfasts are cooked to order - very nice and original but not contemporary US breakfasts. Forget the brick, glass and concrete hotels and come and stay here. Highly recommended.

What truly sets the Bass Cottage Inn apart is its kind and attentive staff! Echo, Marina and Walker went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The cozy room was a highlight too. The location itself is amazing! We were only a short stroll away from the picturesque harbor and around 15 minutes away from Acadia National Park.

I couldn’t get the tv to work. The ROCU was not able to pick up the station we wanted.

The room was spacious and clean. The property was close to everything we wanted to see. Such a walkable area. The breakfast was wonderful. Thank you!

Everything about our stay was over the top!!! From the moment we arrived to 'high tea's, our quaint well decorated room in Ullikana Cottage, to the location in downtown Bar Harbor overlooking the green and the water... Thank you Walker and your Mom for the delightful breakfast and conversation. Although our home in Colorado is quite a distance, away, we will hold our stay here in our fond memories 😊

Fantastic breakfast to start the day. Great location - water view and only steps from Bar Harbor restaurants and events. Staff was friendly and helpful - asked often if they could do anything to make the stay more enjoyable. Afternoon tea was a nice treat - baked goods and coffee

Bass Cottage was in the perfect spot downtown to be able to walk to anything you wanted. Breakfast each morning was also delicious. Staff could not have been friendlier!

While a few bugs were present (expected in a forest setting), and the breakfast could have been more flavorful, the overall experience was delightful.

Bass Cottage Inn charmed us with its comfortable, air-conditioned rooms and attentive staff. The B&B's location, steps from downtown Bar Harbor, was perfect. We loved sipping coffee in the Adirondack chairs while watching boats in the morning and the rooms were cozy, and the bed was comfortable!

The only thing we didn’t love was getting to/from the property. Once on-site you (and your vehicle) are tucked away from the bustle of downtown and everything is walkable. BUT if you are coming and going during the day…make sure you have an extra share of patience to navigate vehicle and pedestrian traffic 😄

Loved the step back in time feel coupled with modern amenities! Breakfast was delicious each day we attended.

The person at check in - Will - was more than welcoming and obviously loves his job and takes pride in it. Location was perfect for walking into town and room was perfect and comfy for our short atay
