I had a couple of issues with the lock on the door. At one point the deadbolt got stuck shut so I had to climb through a window to escape my room. A day later my key card stopped working so I had to go to the office to have them get it working again. Neighborhood is not a place you want to walk around at night, even in the day it was questionable. It was close to a concert venue which is why I chose it.

Great value, I loved having the kitchen. I was too busy every night to take advantage of the courtyard social activities but that was a welcoming touch.

- When I checked in, I went to the room and the maid was cleaning the room, I asked her just to confirm if the room would be available in a few minutes and she didn't speak a word of English, which became a little complicated, because of communication and the fact that my room wasn't ready, and I checked in at the time the hotel requested, I had to wait about 10 minutes, it didn't take long, but after a tiring plane ride, those minutes can be annoying. The only problem that I had, so is that hotels always require tourists to respect check-in and check-out times, I think it's worth the hostel paying attention to this.

- So as an introverted traveler I opted for the private room, better choose. I can't adapt to a hostel with a shared room and I found this one at an affordable price and even better, a private room. - The room was very cozy, the bed was comfortable, it had a fan and heater. - The location is a little further away from the Walk of Fame, but about 10 minutes away, you can normally walk to the subway and convenience stores in minutes. - I arrived before check in and I was able to leave my suitcase in a room at no cost. - All the people I saw in the hostel were very good vibes. - I saw some reviews about there being a lot of homeless people outside of the hostel, yes, this could become something bad, but really, none of them messed with me or tried to talk to me, So it didn't bother me, but I'm Brazilian, so that could be why I didn't have any problems with that. :) - A tip: my room was on the second floor, during my stay, I arrived at night after spending the day at Universal Studios, and there was a party with very loud music, and it was already more than 11 pm, but when I entered my room, I didn't hear nothing else, so if you like parties and don't mind noise it won't be a problem for you, but if you're like me, I advise you to ask to stay on the second floor :)

I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

It's located on a quieter section of Hollywood Blvd 10 minutes walk from Hollywood and Vine metro station (turn right as you exit). The premises are clean and each room, including the bunk rooms has a private 4 piece bathroom. Laundry facilities are available. The staff are helpful including the gentleman who prepares breakfast.

Lots of homeless people around although not disturbing. A fan in the room blowing directly on my bed , unable to move it other direction. I didn’t feel good when they xero copied my passport and card with all my personal data.

The room and location were great. Coffee and hot water always available. Close to buses and metro trains. Loved that the kitchen is in the room!

Breakfast was basic. Rules for silence are not followed all the time. Location was okay but not optimal due to a salvation center being opposite of the street which attracts some homeless people.

The staff and other people staying there were very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. Nice that breakfast was included. Front door had code on so only hostel visitors can come in. Only 10 min walk from hollywood boulevard

House Rules are not followed and there is no rule of silemce period between sleeping time amd breakfast. Nobody cares if others are sleeping. Secondly its on quite long walking distance from Hollywood/Vine Station. They charges are high for per night.

I like the breakfast in open area where can get direct sun light which is very important for health. Secondly i like they have parties and activities all the time.

There's a fan in the room, but air con would be more effective and less noisy. Otherwise we were very happy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had several and delicious options 🤗. Location was nice and close to metro station.

The breakfast was quite sad and lacking, would definitely recommend adding a few more options there. Our room wasn’t ready at the check in time and we had to wait outside while they finished. Quite unprofessional. There was also a mixup about our parking spot which was sorted in the end.
