Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaEvery time you turned on the TV there was a message asking if you liked your stay. A bit annoying.
The hotel is a 1/2 hr Uber taxi drive from Newark Airport. The New York Subway MTA is a 10-15 min walk to 86 St and 4th Avenue R Station. Lots of restaurants on the walk to the subway station. There is also a bus running on 86 St. The breakfast is a step above continental because you get boiled eggs or omelette. Coffee is on 24-7. The hotel is a 6 storey building. The staff are very friendly and from varied cultures which was interesting to learn a little bit about where they were born. We stayed at the hotel in the last 2 weeks of Mar 2024.

United StatesThe toaster is a little slow of a process. I have seen hotels with a quicker toasting option. That will speed up the process if you have multiple people wanting and waiting to use the toaster for their bagels. The milk ran out and it wasn't replenished for me. So a different milk option for cereal.
I loved that there was a variety. The staff was attentive and very helpful. It was very clean and welcoming. I also like the time frame, I was able to come down at a reasonable time and things were still able to enjoy a variety of breakfast items.

GermanyThe Hotel is new and the equipment is new and fresh. A bus stop to Manhattan is nearly in front of the hotel. Half an hour drive to Downtown near ferry terminal. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. You can have Tea and Coffee the whole day. Breakfast I have not used. Nearby you find dinner location for a quick or comfortable Dinner.

United StatesI found that the breakfast area was way too tiny, but I had to remember that I was in NY, and tiny close quarters were to be expected. In addition, if you are looking for a good hot breakfast every morning. I would suggest that you find a place to eat in the area. The breakfast is a simular basic continental style breakfast...nothing special but I don't feel like it would be fair of me to reduce the rating of such an exceptional place for something so trivial.
I was impressed with the inviting warmth, cleanliness, modern appearance, professionalism, and helpfulness of the staff. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Modern, clean and in a good spot for the R train subway straight into Manhattan. Lovely staff, rooms were excellent and definitely looked and felt modern and well equipped. The breakfast was good although the hot food wasn’t fantastic, but probably fine for most, and bananas were out of stock most mornings, but these are minor concerns in an overall fantastic stay.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms decent size. Bed very comfy. Great to have a nice mirror in the bathroom for the ladies. Small fridge in room for water etc. Metro is not too far away from hotel and bus across the road. Overall, our stay was pretty good.
