Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe only issues was the response time from the front desk to house keeping when a request was made for new sheets due to my wife having food poisoning from Aunt Chilada’s and dirty bedding. Aunt Chiladas which was a Mexican restaurant at the front of the property was terrible!
The property was nice, with the water park and multiple pools, which were fun and relaxing.

United StatesEDITED TO ADD: They refunded one night which I thought was a fantastic response. The cleaning person came. They left the 'hotel scent' spray. That was the ONLY indication any thing was cleaned. Our ice bucket was full of melted water. Our tissue box was empty. Our beds were unmade. Food and drink prices were ridiculous. A single cocktail with tax and tip came to 19.38! In the room, a bag of chips was $6. We requested and did not receive late check out as the hotel was at capacity. We then checked our bags. My husband clearly stated he needed his bag to NOT be in the sun as his work laptop was in there. When we picked up our bags at 4:30pm on Sunday, our bags were in the direct sun. My husband took out his computer and it was boiling HOT to the touch.
Room was big. Beds were comfy. The water park was super fun. Slides were epic, lazy river always had enough tubes, the wave pool was cooler and refreshing. Kids had a great time. Nearby restaurants within walking distance (Rooster and Aunt Chiladas) were both kid-friendly and tasty. Hotel refunded us a night for some complaints, which I was impressed by.

United StatesThe timing of lawn maintenance, it was too early in morning and I couldn't go back to sleep two days in row and the water was off for two hours which was an inconvenience .But I let staff know and they did compensate me as much as they could.
I just ate off the facilities but I liked the rooms and amenities that came with it.

United StatesThe room we stayed in was dated and smelled odd. The sink made really loud gurgly noises at night, loud enough to wake me up. Housekeeping was sporadic we weren’t sure if we had to ask for it or not.
Property was large with multiple styles of rooms to choose from and differing views. We were able to check in early which was great. Golf course on site multiple pools and a water park. Texting staff was easy and requesting extra coffee rides etc. was easy.

United StatesGetting to the Sedona of the Arizona Grand was challenging especially at night when we had never been there. The parking lot is a maze and we never really figured out the best way in and out of the Sedona area. They had main entrances to the area blocked off either with huge flower pots or barriers. Room service closed early at 10PM, we got in about 11PM and couldn't order anything. The room itself, walls, fold out couch etc. were out dated. Seems it could use some wall fixings and touch up paint. The extra blanket was dirty with hair. I had to ask for clean blankets. The fold out couch mattress needs replacing. We could feel the springs of the fold out couch through the mattress.
The room was a good size, the room service was fast and good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Lobby Grill staff was exceptional and the food was good. The Oasis water park was great. It was great to have a pool right outside of our room to go to when the Oasis closed at 5PM.

United States1. They have microwaves but you have to purchase by the day. 2. The Lobby grill restaurant was pricey which was fine but the quality of the food didn't equate to the price, 3. The laundry facility had 1 washer and 1 dryer that was outdoors.
1.The resort is beautiful and well maintained 2. It's located near a lot of food places and it's not far from the airport. 3. The rooms are spacious 4. The staff were welcoming

United StatesThe food at The Oasis is way overpriced and everything comes a la cart. They check your bags on your way in and you are not allowed to bring any of your own food or drinks in. A fountain soda is $7.25-$8 and non refillable. French fries are $10. Prices increase from there. Our 9yr old daughter was tall enough to go on the water slides one day and not the next, so that was extremely disappointing. She was definitely tall enough and we would never let her do anything that compromises her safety.
The Arizona Grand Resort is a great resort for families. The Oasis has something for everyone- from 8 story water slides to a splash pad for the littles. The rooms are spacious and very nice and the staff is kind and very accommodating. They will take you in a golf cart to either one of their restaurants located on their property.
