The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great breakfast was included. The outdoor pool area was very nice and well maintained, as was the "backyard" area. The property is only about a mile from downtown Bar Harbor, and a few miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park, so it is very convenient.

The room was quite humid. That was really the only downside. Even when we had the air and fan on it still felt muggy.

The location was a perfect distant from town. Was close enough that the trip was quick but far enough that it was quiet when you wanted to rest

The building looks new from outside but the room floor is wood. The first night after checking in, we were given a first floor room and heard a lot of noise from the wood floor when someone walking around on the second floor. We asked to move to the 3rd floor (highest floor) but were only given a second floor room. The manager on duty was very reluctant to give us a 3rd floor room, saying that all rooms were sold out (but we walked outside and saw only half rooms on the 3rd floor had lights on around 9pm). The same noise problem persisted when someone walked on the 3rd floor. So, if you are super sensitive to noises at night, better ask for the top floor when checking on at the first place.

The location is very close to the national park. The room is clean and continental breakfast has fresh fruit and two hot items (usually eggs, bacon, or sausage).

Breakfast was underwhelming and had very few cooked items, almost no vegetarian friendly cooked items. Food was served in disposable plates and cutlery. Room service to request an small item was not up to par, we ended up waiting and never getting the requested item.

Checking in was easy, place was clean. Breakfast was provided. Staff was overall friendly. Area seemed safe and was somewhat walkable to the town, which is important because there are almost no ubers in the area at all.

The bathroom area has thin walls, I guess. You can hear the laughter and sounds coming through the walls. This could be a personal matter that the foam bed was good but not good for my back!!!

Acadia Inn sits in the middle of the city where many other options exist. Rooms are well appointed with coffee. tea and refrigerator. Room size is larger than comparable hotel rooms. Breakfast is good. Room service is great. You can make a coffee or tea in the cafeteria till 10 pm and grab homemade cookies at the reception area. It's within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, restaurants, boating and a ferry to Nova Scotia.

Wish it was a little closer to the center of town with all the restaurants and shops. We ended up taking our car into town and parking for a fee. It was not far from town by any means, maybe 1-2 miles and some people may opt to walk. We just didn’t. (We saved our walking for the ghost tour and Acadia National park and beaches).

The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were very clean. And all of the staff were friendly and hardworking. Loved having coffee available in the lounge all day. I had mentioned when booking our room that it was going to be our 35th wedding anniversary on May 26th and also that my husband’s birthday was earlier in the month and would love if they could put some balloons in the room. I was willing to pay for them. Not only did they have a few balloons free of charge, but also set up 2 beautiful swan towels with fake rose petals on the bed. It was such a sweet touch, and started our vacation in Bar Harbor on a wonderful note.

Breakfast buffet has some variety, but most items (specially warm dishes) were not fresh m/home cooked.

Spacious and clean room. S’mores activity at night was a good idea. Beautiful walk to downtown Bar Harbor. Didn’t try the pool and jacuzzi, but it looked cozy.
