At times, the aircon was crazy loud. There was a sign over the control panel saying not to touch it, so we didn't but I must admit that it woke me up a few times.

This place was in a great location for the start of our trip, being only a short walk from everything we wanted to see or Denver's awesome public transport links to anything a bit further out. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was appreciated when we checked in and were feeling a bit out of it from the long plane ride and a bit of jet lag. We had a private room with a bathroom. While basic, we had everything we needed and were very comfortable there. It didn't feel like my earlier perceptions of what a hostel would be like and I'd very much recommend it to those who want that location.

The staff was nice and friendly especially when my friend came back smashed lol. The savings on the pizza place and the location. We went out on a night drinking and it costed $5 to get a lyft and another $9to get back. So cheap ride to enjoy bar hopping and the taco truck outside just what we needed before going to bed.

We stayed in a private bedroom with a regular twin sized bed. I felt that the beds are too small. Be aware of that.

The hostel is super clean, there are a lots of bathrooms so I almost never had to wait to shower. The staff is really friendly

Being an old hosteller, I found 11th Av Hostel to be at least as good as the best I've ever stayed in. Well done!

A little bit noisy during the night - but it is a hostel and there are lots of people coming and going

Front desk staff were excellent - professional and polite. We turned up 3hrs before the check in time but a room was ready and they let us check in no questions asked. We booked a double room with private bathroom - it was quite small but great value for money in downtown Denver. Location was good and there is a cafe in the loby and facilities to cook your own food. Left luggague facility was also v. handy.

I did not like that they took my credit card and said if there was any damage after I left the room that they would charge my card. I made a comment about wanting to be present before they claimed that damages where done to the room even though they were 4 other people in the room how would they know who did the damage so that was the only thing I was not too pleased with. One of the staff members at the hostel did explain that concern to me and I felt much better after it being cleared up. It’s really a nice hostel and in a very good location.

I like that they had an elevator and that their location was very modernized for it being a hostel the place was well kept and they had lots of people working there keeping the place very clean

Bunk mattress was adequate, and to be fair, this is a hostel, so you can't really compare it the comfort of a hotel bed. I was on a micro budget for a business conference and felt it was worth it to save literally hundreds of dollars on my trip. But I think it was a little bit hard on this 59 year old's bones for 4 nights. Comparing to hostels across the world, it rates highly - and I think younger, less creaky bodies would do just fine. The folks at the hostel were super nice and the fellow travelers were considerate.

Very hard bed, had to turn over several times every night.

Good value for money, helpful friendly staff, location about 20 minute walk from Larimer Square, very convenient for the history museum and the State Capitol. We had one of the en suite rooms which was comfortable and spacious. Bathroom looked as if it had been recently decorated, good shower and plenty of hot water.

The door to the room is not a tight fit - both light and sound would pass around the edges. Also the AC was slightly loud, there was a constant sound of running water.

The room I was given was a private room with bathroom, but the sink is in an awkward position. Outside of the toilet and shower. There was no mirror by the sink. It seemed like an after thought and added room/space. Other guests made no effort in closing their door shut lightly and every time it would disturb me.

Staff was friendly. Was able to get me checked in early as requested. Common areas except certain times the kitchen was not clean from others.

I was able to connect to WIFI but it was very unstable,most of the time didn't worked and I ended up using my personal data.

Building and private rooms were great! , it is one of the best hostels I ever stayed on and I would definitely stay over there again.Private showers are a great plus.

My second time staying here. Comfy, clean, quiet, good location, nice staff. I liked how the showers and restrooms are private rooms rather than being communal. I liked the coffee place downstairs and the little garden. Handy having a sink in the room too.

No parking. Had to pay to park in a near by lot. I was in a corner room with windows on 2 sides , each had a large light outside pf it which the b l inds only somewhat blocked.

Very bohemian atmosphere, friendly, lots of places to eat in easy walking distance. 120 year old hotel but clean and somewhat updated. It has been a while since I showered in a claw foot tub...
