The room next to the pool was too small. The room was empty the whole morning until 1 pm and it wasn’t clean. Cleaner promised to come back later but he didn’t. The music in the bar was way too loud on the first night.

Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Real continental breakfast. Great location, you can walk everywhere from there.

If mattress could talk, we would probably never leave that room. 🤣 The mattress wasn’t comfortable, it was slanted towards the headboard. Sure got its usage over the years! 🤣

Breakfast was 🙂 as a continental breakfast. I’ve seen a lot better.

The parking is just opposite the hotel, but is small and finding can be a bit tricky. However, this is Key West and one has to remember it is very central.

The hosts were very friendly. The room and the facilities met the expecations. I like the fact that they were really upfront on what to expect, also in terms of noise. The guest house is really well located. The discount for the Parking worked like a bliss, and at a very reasonable rate. I would stay here again.

Given how load the music is until 3:30am, it’s hard to get a full night’s sleep. Fortunately I read this and took ear plugs. Breakfast is basic. Healthy options should be a priority.

The Bourbon Street Pub that is part of the New Orleans House was a good bar with an outside bar. The bartender inside, Jeff was a super great guy. He never left us without an empty glass/can. Now on the other hand, Mark, the outside bartender was not so great. The bar closes at 4 am and Mark closed the outside bar at 2 am. That wasn't cool as we were wanting to be outside. He didn't seem like a very happy person. Now Jeff and Rhett were awesome. They took great care of all of us. I would highly recommend looking up Jeff and Rhett to be your bartenders. Not so much Mark. Also, there was no hot water in any of the bathroom sinks to wash your hands.

The main New Orleans House was very clean and friendly staff. No complaints on the lodging at all.

Depending on where your room is facing to you might suffer from noise from the music of the pub/club within the building or the street and street cleaning. Also keep in mind people stay late at the pool bar and jacuzzi, if your room faces the pool area. Make sure you ask the staff for quieter rooms before booking if this is important to you. Overall the resort has become very dated and has surely seen fresher days. The staff does what it can to keep it tidy and clean, but there is only so much you can do. Unfortunately the roof top was closed, apparently due to an accident of a drunk guest. The breakfast is complimentary but basically just frozen or dry packaged stuff. Not even some fruit.

Located right on Duval street, which is the main shopping / restaurants street. The pool and hot tub is attended, checked and cleaned daily which is very reassuring. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help no questions asked. We had a no window room, which we knew before and this ensured we were having all the silence needed and wanted. Our room had a small fridge and microwave. Tiny but ok priced. The pool area and garden is quite spacious which allows for shady and sunny spaces all day long. There was discounted parking right next to the resort, which really helped. Overall, very nice, chilled and peaceful atmosphere. WIFI worked well.

IF you are sober you might want earplugs if your room is right above the Bourbon Street bar. Fortunately I had suffienct alcohol (or was at the bar) for it to not be an issue for me!

First time staying at a guesthouse like this and was pleasantly surprused! I had a great time and I enjoyed the bar and pool both nights (I didnt even know about ut when I booked to be honest). People were very friendly and I loved my room being on the big veranda with the fresh coffee in the morning just outside my door. I need to bring down so friends with me next time! I know they would enjoy it!

The toilet in room 11A was a complete joke. It was made for a child, not an adult. It was so small and so low to the floor that I fell backwards the first time I used it and ended up with a huge bruise on my back. This toilet needs to be replaced with an ADULT toilet. This is an accident waiting to happen that is easily and inexpensively corrected.

All in all our stay was FANTASTIC and we loved New Orleans House. Almost all of the staff were outstanding with the exception of the one "old grouchy" bartender who was rude, dismissive and not very cordial or welcoming at all. Didn't even get his name but he was not at all friendly so we just avoided the bar when he was behind it.

The bed was too firm. It was bad for my hip. The toilet was too small. It was round instead of elongated. The shower pressure was poor. Finally the room was too small.

I really enjoyed being close to everywhere I wanted to go. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The amenities were good as well.

I thought the 3:30 plus AM music at the outside bar and pool was a bit much. 2 AM would be better. It was usually very slow at the bar,especially at that hour.We had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep,and it was pretty late when we did get to bed.Maybe those hours during special events only.

Loved the location,right in the middle of everything. The breakfasts were great,a good variety to choose from.The staff ,especially when we were there were great,funny and personable.
