We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaHotel has not seen much maintenance in recent years. Definitely got what we paid for. Expectations weren't high considering the price but were still a bit disappointed. Large police presence one night because of what was going on in the rear parking area.
Only positive was the price.

United StatesThere was no breakfast, and rooms were not visited the three days I was there. Warm enough, staff was very distant and not particularly helpful. We had a break in to our room and honor/manager claimed it was that the room was left unlocked and door was open but there was evidence of tampering with the door. Nothing was done and we left that day.

United StatesThe only two things that were not good were About halfway through my 8 day stay, the heater in the room stopped working. The first few days were not a problem, as it was unseasonably warmer out than it usually is in December in New England that weekend, but my last couple of days, it got cold again and I froze. I caught a cold and didn't have the strength to have to move to another room, so I dealt with it. The other thing was that directly above me, the person(s) in that room was banging and moving things around at all hours. During the day, it was a minor inconvenience, but later in the night, it was a pain getting woken up by loud thuds. Not sure if some of the noise was the tenant (definitely at night) or possibly the maid vacuuming. It was sometimes quite loud though. Other than those things, my stay was a decent one. I have stayed there many times in the past and other than a few minor things occasionally, I like that they have smoking rooms and since I was traveling up there visiting from Florida, I arrived after midnight and the front desk gentleman was very accommodating since I has booked and paid in advance..
Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Hot water in shower was good. Bed was decent. TV worked fine with plenty of stations.

United StatesThe first few nights were great but when we switched rooms the last night the room we were in’s AC did not cook the room down. It was 90 something out that day and I was out all day with the AC on and it was cooler outside the room then it was inside the room when we got back. I told the worker that it didn’t work and he told me it did so that was irritating. Just check the AC’a before staying!

United StatesI have stayed here many times booking through Booking.com. i know it's a lower budget motel ao my expectations aren't huge. Normally, this is not an issue and i'm satisfied with my stay. The usual front desk people are always great. There is one gentleman who has been the person working my last two times there. He was working one other time several months ago and i had a pricing issie with him. At time of booking, I ALWAYS ask on the special request part if i can have a 1st floor room if no extra charge because i have a bad knee and the stairs are a bit cumbersome and if i can avoid them, it is better. I have always gotten an email back saying this request will be no problem and im always given a 1st floor room (usually room i believe it's 122 in the very front of the motel maybe 50 feet from the parking lot). It's perfect. I understand that this request may not be able to filled but when i am paying in advance and i get the email back saying its no problem, i expect it to happen. It has NEVER been an issue with the usual front desk people, till the last two visits. This gentleman was working both times and gave me room 219. I asked if i could get a first floor room and was told no, none available. This last stay, i got room 219 and the television would not work. I tried new batteries in the remote but it still wouldn't go on. To compound the issue, the couple next door were having sex and a little loud through the walls. If i had a working tv, it wouldn't have mattered. I had no time to plead with that same guy so i made due unhappily. Plus, he tried to put one over on me asking for payment at check in till i told him no it was already paid online. I would like this gentleman to get on the same page as the usual front desk people. I know he can't be responsible for the tv but had he had given me a 1st floor room as i was told i would get, it wouldn't have been an issue.
