“Staff was unprofessional. Check-in person had coughing child that she was taking care of as I checked in. Ground door to parking lot was broken, so security was questionable. Asked for an extra blanket to cover up the security light that came through the normal curtains and the night clerk begged me to not steal it. I thought that was an odd remark. The hotel is showing its age and the ground floor room had several places where the wallpaper was torn. As mentioned earlier, the hotel light shining on the window made it seem like dawn/dusk the whole night. The sheer curtains were missing, so did not open curtains during the day (window faced backside of Waffle House). The bathroom was showing age with the tub dripping water and the sink missing the built in drain cover. The sheets appeared clean, so that was a blessing. The price was $125 night, $50 less than better hotels. Looking back, I should have paid more and stayed at a safer, well-maintained hotel.”
