a party next door. now hotel's fault for sure, but it's annoying. (but you probably won't find a better option in Odessa anyways, so just close the window until someone calls the police and shuts the party off lol)

as usual - amazing staff, polite and helpful. comfy room, clean and nice. delicious breakfast with a great variety of choice for food & drinks. there's electricity generator as well so despite the horrible blackouts everything works just fine. also there's a shelter with the beds and water in case the air raid takes place

They charged me 7$ for a glass that broke. Never happened to me in all my life.

The "comfort" rooms are very nice, teady, clean, modern. Very lovely! They upgraded me for free after i less liked the standart room. The hotel is very high quality, good breakfast, very good location. People at reception / restaurant are very nice and welcome.

The bathroom was not safe enough for a person like me with a mobility disorder. It presents some real risks to people like me to fall. Management made real-time efforts to reduce the risks but it still has a way to go. I was a bit disappointed at this because 2 days before my arrival I notified them that I am partially disabled and requested a room that could accommodate a handicapped person, but they don’t have such rooms. To be fair, I’ve stayed at several high-end hotels during this trip in 3 different cities. None of these hotels had any idea what I was talking about. At least here, management came to my room so I could show them what I was talking about. No other hotel management did that. This hotel is all about first class service. I think that for around $100 the bathrooms could be made safe. I’m not in a wheelchair, and I can walk. Due to a spinal cord problem I just don’t have feeling below my knees so I’m not sure where my feet are. That makes balance difficult. They are responsive, but this is really important to address. The last thing I want to do is come to Ukraine for vacation and fall down and crack my head. Many hotels make clear on their website that they have some rooms that are adjusted to make it safe for people with disabilities. I’ve not come across any in Ukraine. This provides an opportunity to this hotel. When they couldn’t offer a room safe for people with a disability, I was going to cancel. But I couldn’t find any hotel in Odesa that offers rooms that have the extra things needed to be safe for people with disabilities. So i decided to stay. I’m happy with my choice. But when people with disabilities are searching for a hotel we always take that into account in making our choice. Friends here and back in the USA ask me if I’m afraid of the war-related bombing here. Actually, I am not. The most frightening part of my day is going into the bathroom to take a shower.

The dining area was a bit cold. The TV screen is a bit small. It is not mentioned that the Sauna is at extra cost. To go to my room, I had to cross through the internal balcony which is outdoors, and to be exposed to the cold weather.

Staff is very nice and welcoming. They helped with all my enquiries 😇 The rooms are very spacious and cozy. Beautiful design.

Only a couple of small things really. I felt I could have been offered an upgrade seeing as the hotel was at low capacity during the war but when I asked it was just a flat no. And the only other small thing was when I asked for a second coffee during a breakfast the girl took my dirty cup away and filled it with another coffee even though the top and died was stained. I did say something but just got a smile back so I didn’t ask for a new one (language barrier). But look overall very happy.

It's a beautiful property near all the major attractions. Impeccable service, clean rooms, great amenities, and tasty breakfast. I'm glad to have an oasis like this in a difficult time for Ukraine. Thanks to the staff for carrying on.

A minor problem with the shower, and also it was too much heating in the hotel overall (as to me), which I couldn’t turn off in my room The air conditioner was set to +25, while it was +20 outside

Very quiet and cozy place. No rush, no loud parties…the other guests are nice and polite, no one-night-stand couples detected. You feel safe and relaxed in there Also the breakfast is very good

The mattress was disappointing, it was not a quality one and didnt seem to fit the stylish quality image of the hotel. Also there are no real facilities - no gym etc but I knew that before I got there and there was a gym 15 minutes walk away

I really liked my stay at Il Decameron. The staff are very friendly and the room are very stylish. They even sent a cake and champagne to my room on my birthday which was a nice surprise. The restaurant kitchen (Italian) was also very nice

There were small flies in the room that got to be a bit annoying when working on the computer but overall a wonderful stay.

As you can see I asked for a large bed. We get 2 single mattresses put together. Because I wrote, if did not occur to me that I need to check under the blankets to see if there is one mattress. When you pay good money for a supposedly nice “luxury” and “boutique” hotel you expect to get what you paid for and what you requested. We returned home late, took a shower, and get in bed to find it’s too mattress. You can fall in the large specs between them. Really -this is amateurish. You have no business using these adjectives to describe your place. And what do they say when you tell them in the morning? “Should have told us last night - sorry Maybe we can offer you an upgrade next time”. What next time? Why would i stay here? Also, about this upgrade…did they make a note, tell me a name to speak to? No. This place is garbage. Do not stay here.

1. I could not turn on the heating in the room (air conditioner) until contacted the staff (it was turned off from the electrical panel so the electrician turned it on, don't youu think it's weird?). It was -5 outside so the room was really cold without it. 2. the light in the bathroom (the one on the mirror) was broken and used to turn on and off by itself every now and then, please check it 3. When there are not many people in the hotel the breakfast is not the buffet line but a la cart. and tbh it's very small and there are not enough options to choose from. especially vegan. maybe you could find better options for the breakfast menu or just make a buffet line smaller?

I liked that the hotel has a shelter on the ground floor. There are beds, and the blankets. and the water in there, so in case of the air raid (which happens almost every nigh) you can do downstairs and sleep safely, which is great and this is the main reason I choose this hotel now
