The way from ferry took 1 h 20 due to the traffic.

Nice people. The breakfast and curry was wonderful. The landscape is nice. The view and pool are nice too. I enjoyed the the calm and good vibration here.

Everything was more than perfect! The room is very clean and spacious the staff os very friendly and kind the beautiful nature around and in the hotel. You can’t ask for better than this place. And the food is deliciois. Me and my friend spent 6 amazing day here. I have to go back.

A perfect hotel to escape to NATURE

A nice experience with plenty of spectacular photos from the premises, including views and breakfasts with a sunrise. The boat trip to Kiwengwa reef added to our relaxing and ambient stay.

The choice was made because we like to discover new dishes and tastes in different countries, and it was a top place for the photos found on social media. The restaurant is definitely the best we had on our route in Zanzibar - bravo to the chef and the entire team. All dishes exceeded our expectations - delicious, fresh ingredients, large portions, amazing decorations. Everything else about the hotel was not something unique - just good and comfortable with an ocean view. So, I'm giving my 10 points to the kitchen.

We stayed at the hotel in December 2023 and were very pleased. It's a lovely, cozy, and atmospheric place; the sound of the ocean during high tide could be heard both in the restaurant and in the room, giving a sense of unity with nature. The food was top-notch (I'll share a couple of photos). Funny animals visited us at the restaurant's lounge area at night. The room was spacious, clean, and had an ocean view. The water from the tap was slightly salty due to the proximity to the ocean, but the skin felt very soft after a shower, so it wasn't a problem. During low tide, we recommend strolling along the shore – it's not too hot because of the wind; don't forget sunscreen.

Very nice ambiance, restorant girl, i think her name started with the J maybe Jennifer. she was very nice and also wonderful food for breakfast. Dida did a good job assisting me. Place is great, id go back there again.

No standby generator and no water pressure in the shower.

One of the excursions we booked (kiwengwa reef tour) wasn’t quite as we expected. The water was really shallow and so you were really close to thousands of sea urchins and we weren’t warned about these at all. It felt like the guide didn’t totally know what he was doing.

Z-lodge is a beautiful wee oasis that we spent half of our honeymoon at. The sea view is incredible, excursions were easy to book, food was great and the pool was really clean. The staff were very helpful, we used the laundry which was quick and clean and taxi service was always on time.

I loved everything.

Amazing stay at the Z lodge topped-up with exceptional customer service from the staffs. Nice clean facility, soft bed, clean shower, nice pool, clean beach, delicious breakfast and food. Dida at the reception desk is a superstar on hospitality along with her team, both guys at the bar and all the waitress were super attentive. Thank you very much!

we arrived late in the evening when the restaurant was already closing, but still we got some nice cakes and tea- Napoleon cake was delicious and not over-sweeten as I like. Morning was wonderful and sunny. Nice breakfast buffet and a-la carte choice of eggs. Rain in the afternoon we were not expecting, but there was a great lounge place right on the pier to relax and read a book. Price and services were fare - no complaints.

We had a wonderful time at Z-Lodge Hotel and especially at the restaurant. Bravo to a Chef and team for the food tastes and decoration - it was unforgettable and no competition experience. Ocean, nature, beautiful garden and always refreshing wind from the ocean- there was all of it. Our room was big and finished with boat furniture - nice and eco-friendly. Thank you.
