The staff was really nice and helpful, even helped to us to get a tanzanian sim card (because of the internet we wanted to buy) it wasn't easy to get it, but they made the way! We couldn't thank it for enough. The room had everything we needed! We just arrived after a long trip and we were very tired, but it was very close to the airport which was convinient for us. The transfer of the hotel was also very nice and in time. We also ate a really good dinner in Shivo Guest House! :) We can only recommend!

Wonderful host (Saif) and a awesome chef (Suleman). Perfect location from Airport (5 mins drive) and they offer free pick or drop. Calm surrounding. Clean and neat rooms. 24 hours security.

our room was in the courtyard, next to a staff room. staff was very loud in the early morning, smashed doors.... not necessary if you know that you have guests who arrived 4am and want some sleep. the rooms in the building semmed quiter

We love it and it’s not our first time there. We love the staff, clean rooms, close distance to the airport. We always stay there during our travels and they help with free shuttle to the airport. We will be back for sure.

Nice and cozy place is you have flight 3AM Staff is friendly, dinner delicious. This is budget stay, Price/quality is very good. We got free airport transfer. P.S They don`t have any % drinks in house. If you like to get some beer etc, you should to order it forehand.

The road to Shivo Guest House from the left when exiting the gate is not good although there is an alternative route.

Shivo Guest House is exceptionally clean, the food ok, and the staff especially Caroline, Blandy, Shakira and Salma are warm and accommodating. I will stay at Shivo again and again and again.

The chef was lovely but unfortunately the food was not up to par, extremely salty (we had chicken soup, mango salad & meat biryani) There is a local restaurant nearby which is like 5 mins away, so maybe would recommend trying there instead. The bathroom was very small with the toilet and shower all within the same space, there was a shelf parallel to the toilet and i ended hitting my head on it when I got up, bear in mind I am 5ft2 (so very short) There wasn't a TV in the room, tea and coffee making facilities but no bottled water. Perfect place for arriving or leaving for the airport, couldn't stay here for more than a night.

It was very home-like. The hotel had security, however the location is off an unpaved road so getting there with car was quite bumpy. The rooms were okay sized. For 2 people. Free transfer to the airport at 1am, less than a 5 minute drive from ZNZ airport The ambience was nice and relaxing, AC and ceiling fan in room.
