Restaurant is good but not exceptional, the best part is the Swahili food (very good).

Passion Boutique Hotel has been the best structure we found in our Zanzibar trip (we changed 6 hotel). The manager Laura is knowledgeable and passionate about her work and she really helped us to get the best out of our stay. I recommend to speak with her and do everything she suggests cause she really knows some of the best places in Zanzibar. The hotel is in Jambiani and it is in front of the beach where you can have a walk and get some sun in the hotel area. The pool is clean and useful when there is low tide and everything is super clean (spotless rooms). Very good breakfast. I highly recommend to book your stay in Passion Boutique Hotel when you are in the south part of Unguja!

There is nothing they could've improved on.

This is a beautiful hotel where every tiny detail is thought through. The rooms are lovely, the views amazing, it's right on the beach and the food is fantastic but what really makes this hotel stand out is the service. Every member of staff we interacted with throughout our stay had a smile on their face and was so friendly. Laura and Tyrone are amazing - they make you feel so well looked after without ever being at all intrusive. Even as we were leaving, Laura last minute arranged for us a tour of Stone Town and sent over fantastic recommendations for food and drinks. We were genuinely so sad to leave this wonderful community and environment they've created and, if we are ever lucky enough to be able to return to Zanzibar, we will come straight back to Passion!

The location is perfect, right in front of the jambiani beach with magnifcient white sand, beautiful horizon and the beauty of sailor boats in the ocean. You have direct acces to the water. The hotel is really charming, the decoration adequate, local and sober. The rooms are really charming, spacious, well equipped and very clean. The service is perfect, Laura and her colleagues were really nice, helpful and full of useful tips about Zanzibar. The food is really good and diverse. The breakfirst is awesome. We spent 3 nights for our honey moon and were very sad to leave this incredible place. Don't hesitate.

It's an awesome beautiful little hotel directly at the beach. The restaurant serves delicious meals (for me it was breakfast and dinner). The staff is amazing, very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. I forgot my ear phones and Laura did everything to get them back to me while I was still on the island after I left the hotel. It's a vey quiet place to relax and find some peace. I would definitely come back.

This hotel and staff, especially the manager Laura, is a once in a lifetime deal. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay incredible, and let’s not forget about the food ! Definitely better food than in almost all hotels we have ever been too ! Passion Boutique is a 7 star experience all the way. Hands down the most underrated and best hotel on the entire island !!! An accessible Honeymoon experience for all !We highly recommend it, would cancel all my other hotels just for this one. Unbeatable

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Zanzibar. Tiny thing, we would have liked a light on our balcony so we could sit out in the evenings.

The staff and service was excellent and they really went above and beyond - thanks Laura, Tyrone, Benjamin, Agnes and the rest of the team for being so welcoming and looking after us, especially Mike when he was poorly! They were always happy to give lots of advice too when asked and as there are only 8 rooms it feels very personable. The food and drink standard was also very high, wonderful coffee, wine, fillet steak, we always had excellent meals there and ate their for four evenings. We particularly enjoyed the garden party and would have loved more of those! The hotel is in the north part of Jambiani village and it’s very quiet in the evenings. The tides meant it wasnt really an option to walk down the beach to other bars/restaurants when we were there but taxis are available if you do want to venture somewhere different. We didn’t mind this because the food and drink at the hotel was so good! We also enjoyed breakfast with fresh fruit platters and a good selection of options to choose from. The room and hotel itself were also very beautiful, always clean and very comfortable, good air conditioning etc. We saw them set up romantic dinner areas for engagements etc which was beautiful. Also a great hotel to stay if you are dog lovers, Jodari is the sweetest.

There was nothing not to like.

The entire staff and management of Passion Boutique went above and beyond our expectations! The staff were beyond courteous, helpful and warm. They knew it was our birthday celebration, so our experience from arriving to leaving was superb. We got a very sweet welcome from the team with some non alcoholic cocktail. Our room was immaculate, roomy and clean as well as the rest of the hotel was divine too. The whole ascetic and ambience of the space was cosy and welcoming. A delightful bonus was having an additional seating area outside our room to hang out. Plus views from our balcony of the beach. We loved it! Dinner that evening was excellent with Laura/Manager checking on what kind of food we would like to have. The attention to details was second to none. We had a surprised breakfast from staff who sang happy birthday to us in Swahili and presented us with a cake. This was very heart warming and something we will never forget. As if this wasn’t enough in the evening our birthday meal was set up in the garden with beautiful flowers and lightening. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for anything better and for us Passion Boutique will forever hold a special place in our heart. My wish is to return with friends in the future. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We didn't just like everything, we loved it. From fetching us at the airport, to make arrangements for a temporary room while we waited, the hosts, the staff, the friendliness, the food and atmosphere. Everything was beyond our expectations and we will surely be recommending Passion Boutique Hotel to everybody.

Absolutely nothing.

It’s a MUST. We’ve never felt as comfortable as in this hotel and we’ve been around a fair share. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, plus the owners (Laura and Tyrone) were around all the time helping with whatever you could need and making you feel like home. The hotel is in front of the ocean and the views of the sunrise couldn’t be better. The room was super new and comfortable with all the amenities you might need. The hotel has a little restaurant with great views and nice vibes that serve the best breakfast in town. Also really good for dinners with occasional live music. They offer a fair amount of activities but, if I were you, I wouldn’t leave the hotel: nothing beats their views! They were really accommodating with our late departure flight and gave us the room for the whole day. For sure, made our visit to Zanzibar magical and we’ll come back.

Everytthinggg was amazingg. We loved everyone. Great people, Laura the hotel manager was supper amazing & friendly as well as Agnes & all the waiters. the hotel was beautifully located on the beachfront, the room was very well designed with a lot of space and a beautiful view to the ocean. We were able to hear the waves throughout the night and day, which made it even more magical. the property also has a outdoors restaurant that serves food and drinks whole day around. the staff was so welcoming and amazing, can’t recommend this place enough!! 🙏❤️
