It was such a nice and calm place, amazing breakfast and lovely staff that helped us with anything. It’s only few steps to the beach, very nice area of Paje. Nice decorations of the rooms. As a family we spend here a beautiful holidays and we hope to be back very soon!

Together with family we have visited Paje and we stayed at Mlango which was just a perfect stay for us as a family! Great location just few steps by a nice walk to the beach (1 minute), we had there a huge spacious terrace where you can cook together, chill and relax, we have met as well so many new people there! The staff was always helpful and kind. The breakfasts were outstanding, always fresh and so delicious, never the same as well… such a nice and clean, beautifully decorated rooms, free WiFi, music station at the terrace, where some quiet and nice music was played. Paje was an amazing place to stay, the beach is amazing and so so clean, many amazing restaurants around… and best thing to do here was for us learning kitesurfing- wow! we will definitely be back! Regards to the staff and owners <3

Top place! We often visit Paje - it is one of the best places in Zanzibar in our opinion, this time we had a pleasure to stay at Mlango, from which was only like one minute to the beach, such a good location for this rates! (we didn't even need to take any shoes with us!). Great owners, the manager was very helpful, a delicious and very various breakfasts! Always clean at the facility and high-quality service! We recommend it and we will definitely come back soon!:)

Amazing! Mlango is located just minute walk from beach as well as main road where you can buy all food that you need. The facility is equipped with big fridge and utensils in both kitchen so you can prepare your food, and enjoy a huge dining and relax area. I strongly reccomend breakfast option that is prepared by lovely staff who is the most kind and helpful humans being! Another thing is wifi that works suprisingly fast and this is not so common at the island, so you can work in this beautiful place. The last thing is shared terrace with kitchen and sea view that is OUTSTANDING! I loved every aspect of this place from design to extras and personel. Always clean and just perfect. 11/10

Our stay was amazing and we can highly recommend you Mlango! It’s only few step to the beach by a straight path, like 2 minutes! The lounge area with open kitchen, dining table and seating/lounging areas was really nice! We were able to cook there, exercise in the morning and overall it was just a great place to relax. There were fans even there and also a music system. The entire house was furnished with great attention to detail and it was very clean. Our room looked nice and you could tell there weren't many people staying there before us. The bathroom also looked really great and clean. The breakfast was stunning, everyday was something different, always fresh big juice, fruits and big main breakfast dish! We hope to be back soon!

I’ve really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, close to the beach, and to many restaurants. The room was clean, looked exactly like the in the photos (nice Tanzanian style). Very friendly and helpful staff (they helped with booking a taxi). And breakfast was delicious. Every day was something new and tasty. Definitely will recommend to my friends and family.

- Breakfast is very bad, sausage cooked with ketchup or a burger full of mayonnaise at 8am… not even real coffee, just instant one. when I ask to have different breakfast and not a burger , the manager didn’t received it well, and just said it was like this, they cook with what they have … portion are quite small as well - we stayed 4 nights, they didn’t came ONCE to clean our room - only 1 towel each, not more, not even one for the hands or to put on floor outside the shower - apparently there is a pool , but there is not ! They didn’t show us the way and it was not in our building … - we asked for late checkout ( we wanted to leave at 4pm) , the manager only offered us until 11am - which is just normal check out time - and thus without having any client after us .. tho she offered us to use the bathroom after our beach day, BUT removed our towels and OUR SOAP that we let on purpose - no way to close windows so no privacy at all, so at night sometimes can get noisy with other hotels playing music .. - at checked out, no one came to help us with our suitcases or so - not even a tiny soap is given in the bathroom Honestly everything was very bad, we payed 180 usd for 4 nights which is very expensive for paje ! I live in Zanzibar and come to paje often, I have been to cheaper places with 3x better customer services and facilities … don’t waste your time
