Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

FranceI stayed 2 nights and unfortunately the last night was super noisy, kids and adults shouting in the corridor. Although the rules prohibit noise from 10pm until 6am, it has not been respected.
It was clean, the location was easy to access by public transport (Kenting Express shuttle bus stop is at 5 min walking from the hotel) and the breakfast was awesome! Great job !

Location was good and staff was really helpful. Breakfast every morning was good. Hotel is cheap so you get a cheap room but everything is there.

IrelandThe rooms are small and the bathroom has no tub or shower division so all the bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. The sheets and pillowcases were very harsh on the skin, so sleeping was difficult. There was no room for bags or closet as the room has a display zone for toiletries (this could be offered on request or be kept outside to have room for the customers’ things) and a very small storage unit. Our things were all over the room and the dresser and on the floor due to lack of furniture. Our clothes were over a small couch. The rooms have no view; windows face the stairs or a shop and the ones with windows face a construction cluttered area, so the rooms feel blocked and there’s no air or sunlight. The tv is very small and too bright. It was impossible to go trough the settings to adapt it to our needs. The breakfast is very small and simple and feels like a students breakfast, it was delicious but not enough.
This hotel is located in an important spot near big bay. The staff is very kind and helpful. They offer a small bento box as breakfast and they are very helpful and understanding with our needs. There are good channels in the tv. They are pet friendly! There’s a big balcony on the second floor where you can eat. They helped us with anything we needed. They have water dispenser and free drinks :).
