Very old-dated and simple furniture/decoration. Not too clean but acceptable. The drain in the bathroom smells. The bed is pretty small for 2 adults. The staff cannot speak English well. But we could communicate via Google translator.

Very convenient location. Right at the main station and close to all famous hawkers and sightseeing spots. All rooms have a window. As an Asian I’m in love with the firm mattress.

Personally feel that the bathroom step quite high, which might need to be careful.

The overall experience was quite good, the hotel location is also easy to access to any place (walk about 20 minutes to Ximending and 10 minutes to Taipei airport metro station). Facilities wise are also not bad, they provide public fridge for travelers and so far no one take it.

The hotel has a check in counter and was manned 24hrs. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is near to the train station with many shops, shopping nearby very convenient to travel and shopping.

Poor soundproofing - traffic from the main road (Zhongxiao West Road), opening/closing of doors of the other rooms, and the occasional ambulance siren made it difficult for light-sleepers Hot water- hard to dispense of cold water first for quite some time before hot water comes Room was quite cold at night (I went during early December)

You get what you pay for. Hotels in Taipei are pretty expensive and while the bed was not the best, the location makes up for it

Need to pay cash for my room and credit card is not accepted. Quite easily forgotten for frequent travelers to change extra cash as we normally pay our hotel upfront during booking or mostly credit card during travels. Luckily for me, my Thai friend passed me some cash, else it would have been embassing.

Centralized. Easy to go to most places in Taipei. Walking distance to Ximending too. Unlimited supply of drinking water. It is also within walking distance of the airport bus terminal. Good if you need to catch an early flight.

Wished there was a shower curtain and two chairs instead of one so we can hangout in the room at the end of the night.

Extremely responsive and helpful staff. I got two Queen beds instead of two twin beds, which was wonderful. It’s good that we can help ourselves to the supplies without having to have our room cleaned. It’s great that cold, warm and ho drinking water were easily accessible in the hallways. Wonderful value for the price, and it was literally across from the Main Station and close to Ximending.

Hard to say. If you don't need a swimming pool or gym, this is a hotel that will easily meet your expectations and allow you to explore Taipei comfortably.

A surprisingly comfortable and large room in a good location and affordable price. Very good place to explore Taipei. Easy access to the hotel, helpful staff, all amenities on site.

The pillow is a bit flat for my personal feeling. The room was a bit old-fashioned but everything worked just fine.

The staff are really nice, kind and responsive to my questions. They also asked whether I wanted any supplementary supplies in the room. The location is also located in convenient location although it confused us a bit about where is the nearest exit to the hotel was. But it's only the first time, after that, I can figure everything out easily. Additionally, the room is quite spacious and clean.

The elevated bathroom floor was about 30cm high from the floor. It's too high for older folks to climb in and out and high risk for fall.

The room was spacious and clean, the staff and chamber maids were friendly and helpful. I requested for shower screen and to replace my toilet holder and the jobs were completed the next day. My request was promptly granted.

I struggled to find the entrance and got in by a back entrance, which meant I had trouble understanding google map directions when I went out on walks. I only discovered the main entrance on my 3rd day. I didn't understand the mechanism to check in, and thought I had to arrange a time for someone to meet me there. I would have been less worried if I had clearer directions and had known there were staff on the property.

The hotel is basic but well situated. Very close to the train station, bus station, and Metro. Walking distance to shopping an museums

Location was very good as it was only a short walk from the Taoyong Airport MRT Station. Moreover, the local eatery shops were very interesting.
