Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeStayed in a deluxe family room which had 1 shower and 2 toilets. But only 1 had a bidet.
Believe this is the only 5star rated hotel in the city. Buffet, many options, great spread, variety of condiments. Make your own waffles, fun. 2x 7elevens within 100m. Great view if you are high enough.

AustraliaOutside Swimming pool has green mould on the tiles. The indoor facilities where there are hot springs and indoor pools were very old. Some buttons don’t work. Definitely it needs renovation.
Big Beautiful and comfortable room with a nice view of the city. Free parking. Free activities such as billiard and table tennis were great. Nice rubber flip flops.

Israel1. Not much dining options - you cannot have afternoon tea in the lobby, they send you to the next door 7/11. 2. The hotel location - it's pretty isolated. 3. I had the ABSOLUTELY WORST massage I have ever had in all my years of travelling. Was accused by the therapist I was uncomfortable with the visually challenged people (didn't even realised that he was), he was very forceful even though I asked him multiple times to be gentle. I cut it short by half for the very first time in my life.
Room size, comfortable beds.

TaiwanLater than usual check in time of 4:00. The hot pools were cooler than we expected. We were not told that there was a hotel shuttle that went to the middle of town, so we spent a lot of time looking for parking when we got there using our own car. So suggest that it is part of the welcome information.
There were swimming pool, spa and child play areas which our grandchild enjoyed very much. The room was big and clean but old. The breakfast was very nice with great choices of all kinds of food and plastic dishes and cutlery for kids. The ATM downstairs was quite handy.

TaiwanThe hotel has thoughtfully prepared a wide range of guest activities, which are very attractive. My wife participated in a nighttime yoga class to help with sleep, and the kids really enjoyed driving electric cars on the track.

AustriaThis hotel is for sure not a 5 star hotel. It urgently needs an intensive refurbishment. Everything is outdated. At the swimming pool (which is large) you find pool beds from wood with no cushions on it. The restaurant looks like a hall at a railway station. A very big breakfast buffet but mainly chinese food. At a 5 star hotel one can expect a bid
The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly.

FranceThe building and the facilities need a little refreshment, some of the jets in the SPA were not working, the carpet needs to be changed soon. The matress was a bit hard for our taste.
There are a lot of things to do in the hotel, a SPA, a game room with poolroom and arcade machine, all free of charge. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice. The room was clean and comfy for our stay.

FranceIt is 15mins taxi to downtown so not practical for dining out. There is nonetheless a dumplings restaurant less than 10 mins walk away that is fantastic and very cheap. The massage was a very strong massage. No facial/ skincare treatments available.
The service was excellent. Good shuttle bus service to the train station, good and clean indoor outdoor pool facilities, hotspring bath and water jets,, 2 kids play area (one with books and toys another with ballpit/arcade games). Breakfast with a lot of choice however some days may be busier than others due to the tour operators. Good bedding and fantastic bathroom. Great baby bed and baby Bathtub/baby bath products and baby bottle sterilising machine.

TaiwanThere is not enough parking. If they are busy you have to park outside in a parking lot next to the hotel. One of the rooms we stayed in spelled of cigarette smoke. The water pressure was really low. No bedside plugs for phones.
The location is good, if you are driving. The staff was OK. The beds were comfortable.

TaiwanThe only thing I was disappointed about our stay was the coffee being served during the breakfast, I feel it's gotten spoilt due to exposure due to humidity.

Taiwan1. Got a phone call at 11pm while my parents were asleep from the front desk asking us to move our car to a different parking spot without apologizing how late it was. 2. Was asked to bring our breakfast vouchers to the front desk at 8pm because we requested takeout breakfast (I have done this numerous times in other hotels in Taiwan but had never been asked to bring the vouchers immediately upon requested). As if they were too worried that we would take the breakfast boxes and eat at their buffet causing the hotel going bankrupt. The hotel simply couldn't wait'll next day morning to collect our voucher while handing over the food to us. Been here years ago as a kid and it was awesome. Now coming here as an adult, I have to say not only the room and amenities are hideous, so does its customer service. AVOID.

TaiwanThe only thing I did not like was the rugs located in the hallways of the rooms. As you enter and exit the elevator, you can feel the heaviness in the air. This is caused by the rugs being unclean, wet and the sun hititng the rug directly.. Although the sunlight can help with keeping the carpet dry, there are places the sunlight won't reach. Taidong is humid as well so when cleaning the carpet, do properly dry it. The hallway is not naturally ventilated so the humidity in the air needs to be dealt with regularly so germs and sickness does not linger around. There was a dehumidifier on the floor but it is not big enough to handle that amount of humidity in the air for that space. Removing the water periodically from the dehumidifier and also doing those small little cleaning strategies would change the feeling you get when entering and exiting the elevator. Nevertheless , the stay was awesome and we will visit again. Thus far, it is our favorite hotel visited. And we learned many things.
From the checking in stage the staff and the entertainment in the lobby was awesome. The room service and the warm welcome given by the staff were all wonderful. The best part of the trip for my husband and I was the buffet style food. It was value for price and very delicious. If the hotel wasn't all the way in Taidong, we would visit this hotel every weekend due to the quality and pride they take in their service. They also weren't racist towards us, which is a plus. They treated us like normal people would. The photos matched the room, and there weren''t any discrepancies. We also loved the complimentary sorrel beverages given and sold at the hotel. If you are looking for a place to relax, and unwind from the city. Do visit this hotel, we had no regrets. We are a young western couple in the architecture field so our main priority when visiting places is always quality and cleanliness of the room and food. We are very thorough and look at everything especially the interior of the building because it influences everything within the space such as the food etiquette, safety and the hygiene of the place.

ThailandNot natural hot spring. There is no hot spring. There is no natural ground water either. Confirmed. This is faucet water heated up. Very disappointing. At least the hotel should state so clearly on the site. There are pools. Outside is cold water. Inside pools are heated water range from 26 to 40C., all faucet water heated up.
