Clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful host, and having access to bottled water was so useful . I was able to borrow a bike for a little exploring. Couldn’t stay long enough to try the breakfast but really liked the hotel.

We were given a coupon for breakfast at a nearby restaurant and it was delicious. The parking was less than a minute walk away and spacious and safe. So glad there was an elevator and easy check-in process. There’s plenty of complimentary snacks, water, and ice cream. Very clean room as well.

The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious and adequate for us. There were choices which we need to nominate in advance at check in. Coffee machine is available for use. Mr Wang who checked us in was efficient and helpful. He even organised a taxi to the railway station for early next mirning.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was nice. There was free parking (the one in the basement is quite tight but the staff was very helpful in guiding us). Breakfast was delicious and they provided free snacks, ice cream, coffee/tea in the lobby.

The room smelled like sewage. There was no staff working at the property. Someone showed up a few min after we arrived and told us we had to pay cash and to slide it under the computer later that night. We never again saw anyone at the property during our stay. Very strange experience.

The facilities were newly renovated. There were bikes provided (although they were in pretty bad shape).

Taitung is consider a rural area of Taiwan. I was in love with their rooms when i saw them prior booking. Their arrangement did not consider much of foreign travellers. I explained as follow: 1. There was a notice at the door, if you want to check in, to kindly call the number displayed at the door; if you only have e-sim, is too bad for you. They did not have whatapp account. But they do response to booking.com message. 2. They do not accept credit card payment nor do they deduct money via online transaction. They do provide contactless payment which was using an app to scan and pay (if you are non local, too bad for you). Do prepare enough cash for your trip. 3. The cost is quite pricey based on their location (is a 10-15min car drive to town) and services they provide. They provide bicycles (3), which were on first come first basis. 4. The accomodation is fairly clean. We booked 2 rooms, which come with balcony. They did not clean the balcony door and balcony furniture.

Very well situated. Room was okay, breakfast was very good, comfortable bed; all in all good but still overpriced.
