Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Ukraine- the minibar only had water, and the toiletries only had a bar of soap and shampoo - no kettle in the room - no balcony Of course, this was provided by the information on the website, but it would have been great to have a kettle at least. It would be nice to arrange the transfer of important information for guests between hotel employees when they turn in their shifts. And it would be great if the staff could help with the suitcases and take them to the room, instead of just standing around asking where you came from, with whom and why! It's ridiculous :) The hotel was quite cheap, it suited me to stay for 1.5 days, as there was an early departure from Antalya airport and it took 20 minutes to drive there.
Close to the airport

United KingdomThe beds weren’t the most comfortable, the glasses in the bathroom to rinse your mouth were dirty, not enough healthy food variety in the breakfast menu.
The price is the most attractive from this hotel. It’s very near the beach, they give you towels everyday and help in whatever you ask. Breakfast was good although I was missing the fruit and yogurts for adults. Staff is nice and very hard working,

MongoliaThe Spa at the hotel was a different business. The staff did not speak any English and did not inform me that they only accept cash in advance. On top of that they were quite rude. Also, Tourist Hotel beach is not as shown on the photos. The private beach is shared with or part of Pasam Restaurant and the beach was dirty and a public washroom was horrible.
It was a quite area and close to the city centre and the rooms have a great view.

IraqThe pool is not that big and there are not many facilities close to the hotel like bike rental and shops. Also there is not much to do in that area at night and the hotel doesn't have any entertaining activities.
The room was good and I loved the view from my window. The breakfast was good with various foods and the dining area was calm and perfect from a calm breakfast with your spouse before starting your day. The location was great for me not very far from the beach and a bit isolated so it's quite and not close to some of the restaurants in the area who would stay up all night until 3 Am blasting music. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is holiday-like, calm, peaceful, and perfect for someone who just wants to relax and get away from the busy life of cities. The staff were great, although they don't speak English very well but super nice and helpful

PolandThe biggest dislike of the hotel is the beach. It is around 7 minute walk away from the hotel (which is fine), and the water is quite clear but in the afternoon they play the music so loudly that you can barely speak to a person nearby, let alone read a book or relax. I don’t enjoy feeling like I’m in a nightclub at 2 o’clock in the afternoon (and if I did, Russian club music would not be my first choice). I tried asking the DJ to turn it down a bit but he just told me that he doesn’t understand any language other than Turkish and just walked away. Speaking to other beach staff did not help as well.
Very nice hotel in its class. The staff is extremely friendly (literally everyone: reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff and also the person on the beach who was helping with the sunbeds and umbrellas). The selection of food at the buffet is a bit limited but is of decent quality. The rooms are large enough and if you stay on the higher floors (like we did) - you get a very nice view of the see and the nearby waterfall. There is also a small but comfortable and cozy outdoor pool area on premises.

United KingdomOur only issue was the wifi, as we had to do some work remotely. It sometimes disconnected, but it wasn't terrible and in our experience so far, it is a Turkey-wide issue in hotels. Since Lara beach is next to the airport, the aircrafts can be really loud, but it's not something you can't get used to.
The staff was very friendly and helped us in whatever we asked for. Cleaning was great, they cleaned our room every day. Breakfast was exceptional, nice hot food as well as cold continental style. Compared to some other hotels we stayed at at Turkey, this hotel provided exceptional facilities, such as the private beach, shuttle to another beach, the spa, allowing us to make phone calls when needed, the bar, and the music at the pool. They even gave us towels for the beach and we had loungers and umbrellas at the beach. The restaurants at the private beach is highly recommended! I highly recommend the turkish bath and the massage. We really enjoyed that too!

North MacedoniaThere was limited food options during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even though we were all inclusive we still had to pay for turkish coffee, fresh juices and some other things. We were only able to get food from 9am- 9pm, after that you have to pay. There was no Ayran, Baklava, Tulumba...Internet was poor and sometimes we were not even able to connect in the room. At the reception is where the connection is better. Room was not clean when we reached, and we had to change it.
We liked the location, and the view from the room. The hotel staff were nice, but were not informed of the tours (except the manager) or the surroundings. The kitchen staff were amazing.
