Couple of minor issues: The balcony door didn’t have a curtain which is a bit of a problem as the room becomes brightly lit from dawn. Also I needed to carry luggage through 1 flights of stairs which was Ok but could be a problem for specific persons

Fabulous location and great views from the room. Just a bit outside of Karakoy, so the neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Room has all necessary amenities that made our stay very convenient.

We had a small incident at checkout, it was my fault. I usually keep the key in the door on the inside and when we checked out, I forgot the key in the door on the inside.. and with the locking system they use, you cannot open the door from the outside without a key. Luckily it didn’t happen mid stay and we had taken all luggage out of the apartment before the door closed, otherwise we would need to get back in.. I think they managed to open the door with a spare key without trouble. So do not forget to always take the key with you when going outside

Property was close to bus station and public attractions at Taksim Square. Check-in was smooth and easy contact with owner. If you are 4-5 people staying it is really affordable and good view from the terrace. We had the apartment on last floor with terrace. Quiet area with market around if you need to buy food/water. Bed sheets, towels, everything was provided. Elevator working which is great for luggage. After checkout we left the luggage in the building for a few hours.

Some renovations are needed, but overall it was a pleasant stay and we will come back.

The location is very good, close to main attractions and public transportation. The check in was very easy and the host sent us clear instructions. We stayed in december and the fact that the apartment had central heating system was amazing.

Occasional traffic on the road at night time sometimes creates noise but not for too long.

The location of the flat is perfect, with everything closeby ferry boat, tram, Taksim Square, restaurants. It is our second time staying here.

However, we did encounter a minor issue during our stay. The air conditioning in the living room was problematic, resulting in discomfort during the hot daytime hours. Fortunately, we spent most of our days outside exploring the area, minimizing the impact of this inconvenience. Nonetheless, it would have been more comfortable if the living room's air conditioning was functioning properly.

During our recent stay at Sirena Suites, we found several positive aspects that made our experience enjoyable. Firstly, the location of the hotel was excellent, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. This convenience enhanced our overall stay and allowed us to make the most of our time in the area. One of the standout features of Sirena Suites was its affordability. The budget-friendly nature of the hotel made it an attractive choice for travelers seeking comfortable accommodation without breaking the bank. We were pleased with the value for money we received during our stay. The rooms at Sirena Suites lived up to our expectations, accurately matching the photos and providing the amenities as mentioned in the details. It was reassuring to find that the accommodations were as advertised, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay for us and our family. A notable advantage for families with children was the presence of a kitchenette in the suites. This feature allowed us to prepare meals and snacks for our little ones, adding convenience and saving us from the hassle of dining out for every meal.

The only thing with the place is noisy nights. If you are a light sleeper, you may find it difficult to sleep with all the noises coming from outside (Seagulls, cats, neighbors,...). Maybe a double-glazed window will help.

The location is great, very close to Galata Port and Besiktas and if you don't mind steps, 10 mins to Taksim Square. You could also easily get Tramva or a bus. If you like to cook, there is an electric gas and a microwave and all the tools you need. We stayed 13 nights and Mehmet was very responsive and provided all services we asked for.

Just 1 bathroom for a 2 bedroom suite! Quite difficult to manage for a larger group.

Excellent location, safe area and walkable to Taksim Square and Galataport. 2 min walk to the tram! The support from the team was fantastic even late at night. They were quite helpful in helping and guiding us plan our stay and sightseeing. Most recommended for a stay in Istanbul!

Something, what apartment manager/owner can´t affect, but it should be taken into consideration by travellers: - there is a school across the street, hence a lot of children screams and shouts during a break, when a break ends loud music plays to call them in. And it is heard in every room of apartments. When our baby had had his midday sleep, it distracted him a bit. However in summer during holidays it should be ok. - Muezzins´ calls are realy loud and could be heard everywhere in apartment, which could be a problem for light sleepers (also during late evening and early morning before sunrise) -To get to Taksim square by foot is rather hard - very steepy hill, but funicular solves the problem. However to get back is rather fast: by foot about 10-15 minutes down the hill. Apart of the above, the street is rather quiet.

The room was exactly the same as on the pictures on Booking. Apartment was very spacious and we didn´t miss any facilities. Wifi signal was good, however there was couple of times, when signal went off, but it was for a very short time. Mehmet, who is the manager of these suites is very helpful and caring. We have no problem with self check in, all the instructions were sent in details and on time. The apartment was very warm for April: we had no problem to let our baby run barefoot. As per baby facillities we were provided with baby cot and a bit later Mehmet also brought baby chair to our apartment. To conclude: it was great apartment with Bosforus view, not very steepy path to get to it. As well, there is great transport facilities: tram T1 to Sultanahmet to reach all the main historic sights and buses to West-northen part. Funicular to Taksim is 5-7 minutes walk away.
