The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Location was right in the centre of everything. Walking distance to the shops snd restaurants. Perfect views from the terrace and of the hot air balloons. Thank yiu to the manager Malik and his staff for being an amazing host. We would definitely go back there again and recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Loved the location on the edge of town but close to the main area. the rooms and facilities lovely, good breakfast and pool. Malik the manager a great guy and he arranged last day balloon ride as it was cancelled the day prior due to bad weather. all the staff very helpful and friendly.

If I have to nitpick - couple of suggestions 1. The hotel is located in a hill slope, which requires some climbing. Although there is a car park area which is closer to the rooms , typically the cab service either don’t use it or are not aware about it. 2. We booked green tour through the hotel. While the tour was fantastic, we were told by the hotel that it will be with maximum 8 people.. while we had the tour with 18 people!! So either the hotel has no control on the outsourced tour agency ( which shouldn’t be the case) or they were not transparent. They should be clear in the communication to avoid any expectation mismatch Again these two points are very minor, otherwise would highly recommend this property!

The only negative was that it rained for a few days while I was there, so unfortunately, they had to pack up the pillows and rooftop set up. I would have loved to make more use of that space and take some photos, but oh well! You can't control the weather... and I still got some nice ones on the balcony. Walking up to Sunrise Point was also a good plan B.

This place was the best!!! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and at home. The staff were so friendly, helpful and fun! Nothing was too much trouble. They organised my transfers, tours, everything. Breakfast was included and there was also a brand new pool that I made use of. My room also got upgraded thanks to Booking.com, so I had my own Jacuzzi! There are also a couple of super friendly dogs that reside at the property. The location was excellent, walking distance to many great restaurants and shops - a great hub of activity and I felt very safe even walking around at night. For a great photo backdrop, make sure you pay a visit to Galerie Ikman (check them out on insta). It is also very close to Sunrise Point (10min walk?) - which I highly recommend to see the balloons (20TRY entrance fee, about $1AUD). You can also see the balloons from the rooftop and they have a lovely set up too. If you can afford to do the balloon ride YOU HAVE TO DO IT!! One of the most magical experiences of my life!!! Make sure you book for the first day of your trip because the balloons dont always fly (very weather dependant). My time at Secret Hill has been the highlight of my trip so far!! Thank you!!

Very very minor issue but there was a lack of ventilation in the bathroom which meant towels took a long time to dry.

Beautiful hotel tucked away from the centre of Göreme. Huge rooms. Very kind and helpful staff, and a 10/10 breakfast. Highly recommended!

In reality, there is nothing that we can say we didn't like. Not staying longer, for sure.

We loved this experience. The room was exactly as per the photos. Service was outstanding, everyone very friendly and available to help you. Reception is available 24h per day. Malik, the manager help us to book the Balloon fly, I specifically asked to do it in our wedding anniversary day and he managed it. They proposed several options like private tour, Turkish dinner, shared tours, etc. We could choose what we would like. I asked for a cocktail just saying if I like more or less sweet and Malik was spot on. I strongly recommend this place.

The uphill walk but can’t really complain about that!

The property is really nice and is nestled in the rocks and therefore gives a great experience. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms well equipped. The staff helped with our excursions (hot air balloon, horse riding, airport transfers) and we didn’t have to worry.

The only suggestion I would make is that breakfast be served earlier than 8:30-10:30. Many guests have long drives in the morning to catch planes and starting that long day with breakfast (that is included in the price of the room) would be really nice. Most hotels offer breakfast starting 7:00-7:30. Just a suggestion, since the drive to either nearby airport is pretty long and the regional airports have nothing to offer.

The cave hotel experience is truly amazing. Secret Hills is a jewel among those. It is authentic, elegant, and well positioned in the World Heritage site area in Cappadocia. There is nothing pretentious or out of place at this remarkable complex, and yet, the suites are divine by any era or any country's standards. The lovely cats and dogs that cohabitate the setting, (typical in much of Turkey), is another treat. It's all part of the magic! Like the hot-air balloons that sweep by the Secret Hills terraces in early morning. Breakfast is very nice, Turkish style. Secret Hill Caves makes you feel at home....in another world.

The room was a bit warm/humid but that could have been me not figuring out the right setting for the air con. And it wasn’t bad enough for me to ask about it.

Great location. Staff were helpful and responsive. They organized the airport pickup and drop off. Helped get my balloon trip organized sorted. Room is a good size and I really liked the rainfall shower. Got nice and hot!

It was my first time in Turkey and for the first part of our trip we stayed at Secret Cave Suites. This is a small luxury hotel with incredibly friendly staff. They take care of you for every step of the way. Breakfast was amazing, everything was freshly made and it was a mix of local and international things. Staff helped us to pick out trips and they were very enjoyable and not too expensive. Everything was clean and new. The views were amazing.

It was a pain having to get up and down the hilly terrain to reach the property and stairs for the room but it was all part of the charm of Secret Hill

Not much to dislike, we did have to ask for vegan options at breakfast but they provided some. The room had a coffee pod machine but they didn't provide any pods.

The room was large and clean. The jacuzzi on the balcony now has a sun canopy which was nice. Got to see the balloons from the room. It's up a hill (as the name suggests) but made for a very quiet location. The bed was massive and comfortable. The two dogs were cute!

We had the pleasure of staying at Secret Hill Suites for three nights in May, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location, just a short distance from Göreme, was ideal for exploring the area. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a delightful variety of Turkish and continental options, along with a selection of teas and an automatic coffee machine to kickstart the day. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the rooftop, which offered a breathtaking view of the hot air balloons floating gracefully in the morning sky. A special mention goes to Puyas and Arif, whose exceptional hospitality truly enhanced our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, assisting us with transfers, organizing tours, and providing valuable recommendations.
