CanadaI wouldn't say I didn't like it but it was lack of my research tbh, this hotel doesn't have an elevator(understandably as it is a cave hotel). It might be a challenge for people with accessibility needs or senior citizens. And surrounding roads are also very steep slope. My mom who is a senior citizen with knee issues found it difficult to climb those stairs. That being said, once in the room and experiencing the hospitality she loved the hotel. Even she'd like to visit again.
Honestly, I had booked this hotel just for terrace view of hot air balloon. But this hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are huge, pictures don't do justice. Bathroom also had a jacuzzi :) Breakfast(included) and lunch/dinner(excluded) are delicious. Hotel staff is very helpful. When we checked out, Uber couldn't find us a taxi and we were almost about to miss our bus to Antalya. I had a chat with hotel staff, he quickly called taxi. We had 4 luggage bags which were not fitting in the taxi, so hotel staff added 1 luggage bag in the hotel staff car and asked them to drop it off at our bus stop. They went above and beyond to help us tbh.

United States of AmericaOnly one of the two area was setup for taking photos during my stay. The table and tea cup set represented on the website was never arragned. One area was not opened and likely due to unstable weather conditions. However, the other hotel, Sultan Cave Hotel, had a nicer setup everyday even during rainy time(we could see its setup from Mithra's roof).

The welcoming staff that works in the hotel. They always smile and accommodate their customers. They always make sure that everything goes into plan with their customers especially with the exciting activities to do in kapadokya. The room was extremely comfortable to stay and to sleep. Definitely recommending this hotel to people who plans to go to kapadokya.

ThailandWifi was slow in some areas and in room. Bed was probably old so not most comfy. Toilet smelled stuffy and humid due to poor/no ventilation. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was of poor quality.
Excellent location to view balloons in the morning. Breakfast is very nice with good choices. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Parking can sometimes be difficult but staff helped us find the spot.

ThailandCar parking lots are limited, if you come with a rental car, you may find some spot and walk a bit to the hotel. This situation applies to all surrounding hotels nearby, I.e. limited car parking space. No air-conditioner in a room but it was OK for us in April, pretty comfortable at night.
Hotel terrace may be higher, if not highest, as compared to other surrounding hotels, thus offering best view with balloons on sky for taking pictures. Breakfast is very nice, with smoked salmon also. A room in the real cave offers unique experiences. Common areas are all beautiful. Staff are helpful and could help arranging all activities you may be interested, e.g. ATV, balloon ride. Location is nice as you could walk down to dining and shopping easily.

I travelled with two girl friends to Cappadocia and we stayed in Mithra Cave Hotel for 3 nights. They organised everything for us from the hotel transfer, hot air balloor tour, ATV tour, and the green tour. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious! The room and bathroom were extremely spacious too. The whole experience was just lovely. There were lots of different areas to relax around the hotel as well as admire the view. Be sure to wake up early to view the hot air balloons before sun rise from one of the many terraces.

United States of AmericaThere is a spot designated for those amazing balloon photos on the deck near the restaurant. There is a line from other guests to take pictures in that spot when the balloons are flying, but that is how it goes for amazing photo spots.
Beautiful rooms. Very friendly staff. Views are unreal from hotel. Restaurant on site is very good. Breakfast was quite good. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Clean rooms. We witnessed a group that was not happy about an excursion that they had booked through the hotel and they were acting in a very rude manner to the staff. The staff were always professional during the entire event. Impressed by the professionalism the staff displayed and patience in a difficult situation.
