Stayed 4 nights, our rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely to have aircon in 35+ degrees and we made full use of the terrace. The hosts were super helpful, great English and very quick to respond to any questions. Bako's advice to make sure we didn't overpay/get scammed was much appreciated. We walked to most attractions as the location is so central. Would certainly stay here again ;-)

Hosts are very helpful and friendly, comfortable location close to historic places, good air condition - our room was cool even when there was 35 degrees outside 😊 this place is also very clean, no insects - we value this a lot when travelling to hot countries. I loved the location of this little hotel. Close to shops, transport and restaurants. Friendly and welcoming staff, Bruno and Bako. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to relax, and enjoy an amazing view. Good vibes all round.

Nothing! Maybe if you are looking for a place to cook this is not for you, since there is no kitchen in the apartment. But we did not mind, there are a lot of restaurants nearby!

There isn't much to dislike about Green Life Apart Hotel. However, two errors on the listing page should be corrected if they aren't already: 1) there is no breakfast available at the hotel, although there are several cafes that serve breakfast very close by & 2) there isn't a daily maid service.

This quaint hotel in the historical center of Istanbul is a real treat! It's set in a quiet neighborhood & yet is only blocks away from the major sites. The room was clean clean clean! & spacious enough. Modern upgrades to this older building were thoughtfully done. The common rooftop terrace provides breathtaking views of the Sea of Marmara & a fun interaction with the ever-present seagulls. I found the gulls entertaining & the terrace a welcome respite after a day of sightseeing! The two brothers who run the inn are warm, welcoming, & completely accommodating. Overall, I found Green Life Apart Hotel to be charming & a wise choice within the busyness that is Istanbul.

Check in was very easy. The Host is very nice and i enjoyed coffee with him twice on the Tarrase. Room big and Clean, has everything you need. Even Washingmashine if needed Very good location. 10 min walking to reach most of the Attractions in Isatbul center

The room I stayed in was lovely. Spacious and so clean. It was airy, full of light and the bed was spacious/ and pillows comfortable. It is also located very very close to all the major places. It’s walkable distance from the center. Bruno and Bako are just wonderful and warm hosts. Patient and present for anything needed. I am very glad I chose this place to stay. I travelled solo and it was super comfortable for me. I highly recommend the place to stay for everyone - solo, couples, family.

Bruno & Bako are amazing host who help you with everything you need during your stay in Istanbul. The rooftop offers an amazing view. Everything is clean and the location is calm without the intense traffic you sometimes get. There are many local restaurants around. I recommend you to stay here for your time in Istanbul. 12/10

I had anticipates cooking facilities and in fact found a heating ring and pan in a cupboard. There are movement sensitive lights on the stairs but operate only briefly l found a torch very useful.

I travelled with my wife and we had a great time at Green Life. The place is clean, comfortable and located close to everything that you need to see in old town Istanbul. The terrace view is amazing and I really liked Bruno's; the host, vibe. I will certainly return again to this place.

I felt very safe and comfortable at the apartment.  It was really nice up on the rooftop and Bruno made me Turkish coffee, which was delightful. I really enjoyed my stay.

Some construction in the street out in front of the building but that is temporary. A slight sewer smell in the bathroom, this is probably the case with many of the older buildings.

The reason why we are rating this property a 10 is because of the host, Bruno. We were a late arrival and he was standing outside the front door waiting for us when we arrived. My son had to go to a clinic, and he took him there. The staff did our laundry one day which we really appreciated. The location of the property is nice, across from a lovely park and near some very good local restaurants which Bruno recommended. We had a room with two twin beds, small seating area, a small refrigerator and large windows, bright and airy. There is a rooftop area with some sofas which is lovely to end the evening. It is not a fancy property but the value for everything mentioned is very good. We would definitely return.
