Besides our (resolved) issues with the AC, the hotel would need an upgrade at some point: bathroom, furniture, decoration etc was already quite old. Also, a bit more cleanliness would be pleasant for guest. Nevertheless! One big "no go" was the electric installation in the bath room. The cover for a power outlet was missing(!) in face height, close to the sink. This is potentially danger if you get close by accident. Also, some other electric installation looked bad in the sleeping room. At least those were hidden/covered by the fridge...

Hotel Cesmeli is located close to the markets and the inner city, everything there is within walking distance. You find a lot of shops and restaurants around and there is also park house close by (not possible to park outside on the street). Staff in the hotel was helpful to resolve issues with the air conditioning and we were able to switch rooms. Breakfast choices were simple but good. There is a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby with all the books.

Location was perfect and hotel staff is cooperative. In breakfast they only served Turkish food. Usman Ghazi, Bursa chair lift and other famous places are near to hotel.

This is a very basic hotel. You are not getting anything deluxe here, but if you are just interested in a place to stay, it is adequate.

The location is super, just a short walk to the silk market and the train station. Mehmet was wonderful. He went to the trouble to write out detailed directions for me to get to Istanbul both in English and Turkish so I could show people if I needed help along the way. He even gave me his phone number so I could call if I needed help. I was so grateful and it made the trip very easy.

The hotel is quite old but it doesn't bother me at all. I came here just for a comfortable sleep.

The location is strategic. Koza Han and Ulu Cami are just in walking distance. Staff were really helpful and attentive helping me finding taxi to feribot.

Toilet did not have hot water most times. It was quite dingy too and the room was pretty small

Counter staff was always on hand and friendly. There is a lift that made things more accessible

had to wait for the breakfast bread, so we had to eat the previous day's bread. a lot of Turkish books on the shelves in the hall. a city map could be useful on the reception desk. we had to hunt for it at the tourist office. but the hotel is nice, next to the main bazaar

When we arrived, there were no rooms available at hotel.

There were no rooms available at hotel Cesmeli and they put us up in another hotel slightly more expensive hotel down the street and the price difference was covered by Hotel Cesmeli

The toilet seat was broken. I identified it and it was repaired the next day. I would expect it to be checked and repaired before guests arrive. I asked for a bin for the roof of the room but it was never provided. There is one bin in the bathroom.

Best staff, best location. Good breakfast Little gift before departure was nice gesture.

Probably the room fridge can be upgraded and to have extra or bigger bins with plastic for the room.

Rooms are clean and breakfast is basic but filling. Hotel is near to main attractions and eateries. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning was making an unbearable noise, so you can't sleep if you turn it on. The property is a bit old and in need of renovation. The center room light takes 10 seconds to turn on (after clicking the switch)

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is just a few meters from the bus station, the Grand Bazaar and the Grand Mosque.
