Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesA lot of stairs everywhere. Beware if that is a problem.
This was a luxury setting with wonderful pool and ocean swimming. Great food at hotel. Recommend Atalante burger!

United KingdomGauche staffing, no service at beach by the end of May so be sure to take drinks with you. we arrived late after an exceptionally long journey due to our flight being diverted home with technical issues and having to take off again later. Not the hotels fault , we communicated this to them yet when we arrived having been travelling by that time for 18 hours we weren’t even offered a glass of water . There is no food at the hotel after breakfast.
The property is well located on the peninsula with great sea views. It’s a small hotel and not at all luxury class, more high quality basic and this is reflected in the price. The room was clean and comfortable with a large very comfortable bed and there is no noise at night. the pool is very clean and has good views. Anyone with mobility issues would find all the steps difficult, particularly to the beach which is a long way down. Breakfast is outside so certain hygiene issues with the buffet in a non air conditioned environment, and the local cats. Breakfast ok, but very poor coffee and no yoghurt or fruit juice. Staff are obliging but very young and poorly trained.

TurkeyWe thought that the person at the reception could be friendlier.
We loved everything about our stay at Atalante. The beach was great and was not crowded. The water was clean, calm, and warm when we were staying at the start of October. The breakfast was delicious and the bar available at the beach had a variety of tasty meals. The room was comfortable with all the facilities working well. It was cleaned every day on time. The staff at the restaurant and bar were extremely nice! We traveled to the hotel from Kas by taxi, but there are public mini buses ('dolmus') available. These travel every 30 minutes or so, and they stop right next to the hotel. PS The sea was amazing: make sure you get a diving mask to enjoy a beautiful flock of squid and other sea animals.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel and the view are simply spectacular, it is located on a peninsula 15 minutes from the city by car. The hotel to relax or to be as a couple is amazing. The main room we took exceeded our expectations. Also, the experience of driving all the way to the city along the coastline is amazing

SpainThe guy at the reception was not helpful at all + no English so it was very difficult to communicate with him. The hair drier in our room was broken and he didn’t understand what I was saying so I couldn’t get it fixed. I asked for an iron one evening and he told me that in 5 minutes one person will come and give it to me and I am still waiting + he closed the reception 5 mins after. I asked for more shower gel and he told me he needed to call to somebody to get it (like with the iron), so I understood I won’t get it and I gave up. The beach area was a bit dirty and old (the ladder and the platform). General cleanliness in the hallways - we saw room service left out from another room for the entire day at the door of our room.
The room was fantastic, the pool so clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the staff at the bar and breakfast so nice and attentive. The hotel itself is spacious, quiet, beautiful views. We loved it, we wanted to be in the hotel all the time.

SpainThe most terrible cleaning ever. The room was all time dirty except the time when we complained, the towels were not changed during 3 days and when you go to reception to ask replace towels they say to you tomorrow. Ridiculous. A guy at reception was annoyed to work and talk to customers and had very limited English.
Breakfast was incredibly delicious! Every day was a joy to eat tasty meals in the green area. Room was big, amazing private beach, good location far from Kas busy streets. Amazing team in the breakfast area and beach bar.

United KingdomThere were some troubles with Wi-Fi and we needed to contact reception about it several times, but eventually problem was solved. Some staff provided incorrect information in the beginning and we got confuses about where we can have lunch and when bus to the Kas center arrive. For future visitors: there's a pretty good lunch in the beach cafe and there are some restaurants at other hotels nearby. To get to Kas there is a bus that goes every 30 minutes and you just need to stop it like a taxi. It leaves Kas bus station every hour at :00 and :30, so you can catch it around :15 and :45 near the hotel. Also Netflix and Youtube and other streaming services weren't working, just Turkish tv channels, so TV in the room was quite pointless. Cleaning service sometimes wasn't very reliable, at some point they forgot to put bathrobes and one of the rooms didn't have beach towels.
Amazing breakfast! Very beautiful beach with amazingly clean water, we snorkelled a lot and saw some beautiful fish. It's a very quite and secluded hotel and it felt like the whole beach and pool was just for us. We could enter the pool from the room's terrace. Rooms were beautiful as well. We traveled as family of 4, children stayed in a room upstairs and parents in a bigger room with a sofa, so it was easy to hang out together all the time. Getting two water bottles per room every day was a nice touch.

GermanyThe bottom of the room was a carpet. They don't clean the rooms every day and give fresh towels and toilet paper. Unfriendly russians tried to look in our room... Not a problem of the hotel, they can't choose their guests. Otherwise everything was fine.
Located on the beautiful Kaş yarım adası the Atalante Hotel has stunning views. The room was nice and big. Parking without any problems. The rock beach is absolutely amazing. Perfect for snorkeling, we even saw a seaturtle under water. Beach bar was also very good. Staff is attentive and mostly friendly. Breakfast is very tasty. Menemen was the best we've ever had. Çok teşekkürler her şey için. Taxi to the wonderful town of Kaş to affordable prices

RussiaIt could be nice to have the possibilities to get dinners at the hotel especially if you come so late as we did. A couple of days there was a problem with water in the hotel so you cannot wash neither hands nor yourself after the see (( but is’s common problem in Kas as we understood
We liked almost everything: good view, nice swimming pool just near our room that was very convenient with kids, very nice and clean room, very nice personal, that are very kids friendly and very polite and of course the see, it was wonderful. Despite of 150 steps to the see it’s really worth to do this walk, it is clean, calm, wonderful with even turtles that we saw in the evenings. So if you are looking for calm family holidays it’s definitely the best place.

IsraelThis hotel has seen better days. The bathrooms (in all our rooms) were not cleaned properly; they contained mold and smelled of mold. The hotel needs a gardener!! The garden is beautiful but unkempt. Some bushes need trimming, and some plants are dried and need replacement. Some garbage at the sides of the garden needs to be taken care of. The biggest surprise was the staff. They seemed totally disinterested in welcoming their guests. It began at the check-in, where no information was given (I had to ask when and where breakfast was), and continued when a staff member informed us the beach bar was closed. He didn't bother to inform us there is another bar slightly above. When we asked for beach towels, we were told there were none (there actually are. in the closet. It took us a while to discover them). We had a very slight issue in one of the rooms. Reception didn't answer, so I contacted the hotel through the phone number on the booking.com website. I was asked: "What is your problem?" and then asked to come to reception. I understand that the staff might not speak good English, and I guess the person at the other end of the line didn't understand what I wanted. But "what is your problem" does not translate well in any language. Eventually, someone did come over, and he was the only nice staff member we met during our 2-day stay. He immediately solved the problem. He was also older than all of the other staff members we met (who were all very young). The feeling I got is that all of the staff members mentioned in the other reviews had gone somewhere (maybe a family event?), and some young people with no training whatsoever in tourism received the task of "babysitting" the hotel during our stay. Maybe there is another explanation; this is the best I could come up with; other possibilities (they don't like our nationality?) are worse. It's a good thing we had plans and knew where we wanted to go.
This hotel has wonderful views. We booked four rooms and all of us had sea view. There are two swimming pools (maybe more), so most rooms have easy access to the pool. The hotel has a private deck on the beach with sun beds. It's a rocky beach, so you climb a ladder right down into deep water. Lots of beautiful fish (bring snorkeling equipment). As other reviews pointed out - there are many steps, it's not a problem, but you need to be mentally ready to climb up and down (from beach to room or room to breakfast). Breakfast is fabulous!! Wouldn't change a thing.
