Great location, super friendly hosts, enjoyed the pool with the view. You'll need a scooter but there are plenty shops where you can rent one. We had the pick-up service from the port arranged by the owner, very good!

It wasn't clear how bins were to be emptied or if towels could be changed, or how to get toilet roll. As the owners do not work there it relied on running into the staff, which was rare. There was a number however we do not have Thai sims so could not ring this without a cost and they did not have WhatsApp. This was only an issue as we stayed there for a week so needed new towels and bins changed.

Lovely pool, with a great view. Nice to have our own balcony with a fan. Great value for the area. The owner was flexible with checkout which was great.

It's very difficult to find the accommodation even if it's only a 15 minute walk from the pier. If you try to reach it with Google maps it takes you in a completely wrong location. Then we asked for a taxi to take us there but even him was not sure how to find it. We were in the house number 5 which has at least 40 steep steps so not very comfortable if you are traveling with 2 luggage of 20 kg each.

Viking House Is a good location in Ko Tao. The room is spacious, the bed is not king size but it's comfortable. The location is quiet without noise at night.

Unless you like climbing a lot, a motorbike rental is crucial.

We had a fantastic stay, so good we came back! The location is a bit higher than most accommodation so you get a beautiful view with a peaceful atmosphere, far enough from the noise of the center and still close to everything needed. The room and the pool were very clean and well equipped (there is even snorkeling equipment and life jackets). The staff was very nice and welcoming. Definitely the best accommodation we have been to in koh Tao!

Very nice place with wonderful view from the swimmingpool. Hosts are very nice and they are very nice and welcoming. We rented scooters, that I recommend anyone visiting the incredible Koh Tao, and it's just less than 5 minutes to the city center by scooter. Really nice stay!

Nothing, we would love to go back to stay there again.

We've just returned to Bangkok after a wonderful 9 night stay at Viking House Apartments. We liked everything, it had amazing views, a great pool, what we needed to cook- everything was just really comfortable. The location was also excellent, very close to everything. Tony and his wife were so helpful and kind, there was a taxi to meet us from the ferry, some great advice on excursions and visits, and the offer of first aid supplies for diving injuries. We would love to go back.

Not the easiest place to get to and a little far away compared to most places if you’re walking to places. Bathroom door was hard to open and close and the pool wasn’t very clean.

The doors weren't able to be completely closed - there was always a gap - which means there was always a way for mosquitos etc to get into the apartment. The shower was kind of clogged, it took some time for the water to rinn off.

The view from the pool was very nice. Also the apartment was quite spacious and the aircon worked pretty well. The pick up from the ferry was also super convenient and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Being up on a hill and at the end of a very tiny road meant that not all of the taxis would make it all the way up. For this reason it's be useful to have a shuttle service from the hotel. The pool was nice but could do with a bar/restaurant to at least buy some drinks!

With got a very spacious apartment with an incredible view of the sea and the bay. The living room was perfect to chill and the 2 bedrooms reasonably sized. Everything working well in the bathroom as well.

I would have appreciated daily drinking water to be supplied as most other places do. Especially being up such a steep hill and numerous steps, having to carry two big bottles of water meant I couldn’t carry anything else.

Location was quiet and dark at night which I liked. The pool area was lovely with great views. The bed was the most comfortable of everywhere I’ve stayed in Thailand!

There was no duvet, 2 single sheets that weren’t even as big as an actual single sheet. Why not a double sheet? We found a used plaster in one of the beds, which was a bit off putting. The hosts are friendly and happy to help but we felt also a little intrusive. We didn’t like that he came into the apartment without telling us while we weren’t there.

The pool was nice and it is an amazing view from both the pool and the balcony. The beds were very soft compared to everywhere else we have spent the night. We were allowed to borrow snorkels for free.

One very small thing is that bedroom doors are stiff to open. Just need the doors plained at the bottom and then they would be fine.

Lovely owner. Really makes sure you have everything you need but at the same time very non-intrusive. Great guy, too. Gave us lots of tips for snorkeling, food, renting motorbikes and even where to get medical help when Dengue struck. The room was very clean and comfy, the shower and bathroom were great as well. There is a fridge, toaster and kettle. Plus all kinds of cutlery and dishes so we fed ourselves very well up there without having to go out for food every day. Quite a few shops, local grocery etc. only 2-5mins by scooter. The pool is nice and has a lovely view over the bay. Our balcony/patio was nice and secluded, a good place to read while swinging in the hammock. All in all very much recommended!
