Lovely hotel on a beautiful, peaceful island. The owners were really helpful in sorting out travel for us and they were generally really welcoming. The staff in restaurant were lovely and always had a big smile. The pool is really nice and the hotel is right on the beach.

Wifi was a struggle sometimes, but not an issue for us because we had a SIM card with unlimited data.

Excellent location for enjoying island of Koh Jum. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, with special kudos to the owners, who quickly handled any issue we might have. The room was nice and quiet and we loved spending time in the pool and enjoying meals overlooking the beach. The beach on this part of the island was great for taking walks.

Lovely quiet location on the beach. Unspoilt beautiful island. Room comfortable and staff very friendly. Pool great and you could always get a sunbed when we were there. If you like authentic Thai destinations and peace then you will love this place.

Nothing , although the sun shades at the beach could do with being bigger, in the middle of the day they don't really provide enough shade .

Well designed small hotel , every room is well situated around the hotel , we would have been happy with any of the rooms. The beach is beautiful, clean with very few people. The pool water was extremely clean ,all the staff were very friendly. The pool area has some shade and very comfortable loungers,, the beach area has comfortable loungers and some shade provided.

So minor but bathroom towel hooks would have been nice. But we hung them out on the deck and they dried in no time. Plus we had room towels and pool/beach towels..

From the moment we arrived to left we felt welcomed. The owners and staff are exceptional and kind. Great food and drinks right on the beach. The room was beyond anything I imagined.

Lovely hotel on the beach. The staff are marvellous. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Some little eateries very near by and a laundry across the road which was useful. A short walk (right turn) up the beach will bring you to the rock bar which is very unusual.

For my taste, the Beds and pillows are to hard. My wife had no issues.

The Resort including Restaurant was great. We had a wonderful Time. Everybody was polite and tried everything to please the guest. Thank you for your hospitality.

We loved the location - there are a few places nearby to eat if you want to eat elsewhere but the hotel restaurant is great with reasonable prices. A nice little touch is that the minibar in the room is free & is restocked every day; just a couple of beers, soft drinks, crisps & biscuits but much appreciated. The staff are lovely & friendly. We arrived on a morning ferry at 9.30am & were offered breakfast that morning and our room was ready at 11.30am. Reception can organise a boat for a day trip or a scooter

Although the breakfast is satisfying for most I would add some Asian breakfast to the menu. What in my opinion needs to be improved is a much better quality of coffee. Especially in this category.

It could have had a nice bar for a drink before or after the meal but it wasn’t a deal breaker, it’s just a suggestion.

Such a charming place, very well kept, gorgeous pool, clean and inviting, airy rooms and a beautiful beach. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a Thai resort and the staff was so polite. The restaurant runs a little slower than westerners are used to but this is Thailand and that’s how they do it so go with it.

No entertaiment at night at all, apart from the Fubar bar next door. Reception shut at 2200hrs, and the menu for 1/2 board guest was quite limited.

Very nice, relaxing, clean and comfy hotel, situated with direct beach access, the room was emaculate, would highly recommed if you want to just unwind.

Great location, away from mainstream tourism, yet only a 30 mimute boat trip from Phi Phi or Krabi. Extremely nice and helpful owners and staff. Great long and empty beach, easy and affordable rental of scooters at the hotel, great food and drinks and a very nice garden. All in all a bery strong recommendation!

The one and only gripe I had is that it lacked a little bit of entertainment for night time, once you had your meal then there wasn't anything to listen to in the background especially once you have relaxed all day. This is the only negative I could think of and it still won't deter me from coming back and neither should it to anyone thinking of coming

Absolutely paradise for relaxing , stunning hotel and the staff are all polite friendly and very thoughtful. We had already planned out our thailand adventure and this wasn't part of it until we decided to go somewhere different and wow what a master stroke. We hired scooters and rode around this tiny island and had so much fun. The food and service was fantastic too. I will be back again next year no doubt about it. A big big thank you to the Wynn kohjum family you guys are amazing

The room wee were staying in (family villa) had no hot water in the shower. The pillows are very high and hard.

The staff were lovely. The pool area is great. The rooms are spacious. The location is on a lovely stretch of beach with a choice of restaurants and bars - although we mostly ate directly next door because the food was SO good. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful.

Slightly irregular WiFi - but which resulted in quite a pleasant digital detox! Beds hard but ok. The somewhat eccentric decoration (giant lobsters, native Americans, emojis, zebras, owls, pugs, etc) takes some getting used to but actually added something to the charm!

From the minute we arrived, such friendly people! We arrived (due to delayed flight) at 2am and Ing and Sapporn were there to welcome us - and to cook us a delicious meal! Great location on a lovely beach. Very nice pool. Rooms comfortable and clean. Lovely restaurant with lots of choice of Thai cuisine.

Because we booked our stay through Booking.com, the initial communication with the hotel were not as effective as desired. Once we were able to establish direct communication with the hotel, our transportation and payment options were effective.

The location relative to the beach was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff setup a van pickup for us at the Krabi airport to transported us to the dock, and a long-tail boat to transported us to Koh Jum and a taxi for the final transport to the hotel. We were able to charge all the transportation costs to our room bill and pay with our credit card. The hotel staff arranged a private long-tail boat to snorkel in Koh Phi Phi marine park. The restaurant food and services were excellent. We ate all our meals there while enjoying the sunset views of the gulf of Siam (Thailand).

It was slow season and the only way we can describe the staff is “over attentive”. They genuinely cared about service but it was too much. We didn’t want or need staff constantly hovering over us. It got to the point where we avoided the restaurant apart from breakfast (which was just okay). Unfortunately The Wi-Fi was down and it took several days for it to work properly. The management didn’t communicate well about this.

The room is lovely and they provide nice little snacks every day. The pool was brilliant! Location is right on a great beach with lots of bars/ restaurants in walking distance.

Strangely, the only thing missing at this uniquely commercial naive jewel is the usual commercial slickness that usually comes with such a slick hotel/resort offering. I’ve stayed in places across the world and never seen as sophisticated or wonderful a product being offered without: a slick website presence, a strongly promoted Tripadvisor presence, slick brochures advertising the (many) facilities on offer, an in-room TV channel advertising the hotel’s amenities, slick dinner and drinks menus explaining the (really!) wonderful offerings available. Instead the various menus are hand written on laminated cards.. incredible given the sophisticated nature of the resort! 🥰 I’s totally refreshing to see how authentic and unspoiled this luxurious little oasis is on this unspoiled Thai island.

WOW!!!!! This place is the BEST & NEWEST top-end resort on the amazingly authentic (&!still undiscovered & quiet) island of Koh Jum. On the small authentic and modest Muslim island of Koh Jum, we never expected to find accommodation of such top class quality in terms of: sophisticated resort design, 5star accommodation quality, cleanliness, free water and snacks in room daily, beachfront chill out, free transfer to boat, amazing pool area design, beautiful tropical garden setting. All this, yet designed, built and run by a wonderful, genuine couple who have clearly done this as a work of passion, rather than simply commerce. They deserve every success given the attention to architectural and artistic detail that is evident everywhere. The male owner was the man with the incredible vision, who designed, managed and built this incredible project using almost exclusively local artisans from this tiny island… forget Grand Designs, just come and see what this couple have created. Then there is the wonderful cuisine.. cocktail menu and fresh smoothies.. all at prices a fraction that would be charged at similar (5⭐️) resorts. The lovely breakfasts are amazing - served with the most radiantly smiling lady I’ve ever seen! The standard breakfast menu is both included, substantial and delicious - any confusion In other reviews is due to an additional “extras” menu that the owners thought they’d add on top to ensure guests can have it all. We never found this necessary.
