I really like this place with great, well-kept houses, very close to a nice beach. I like a breakfast buffet and they had it :)

Fantastic hosts Johann and Sabine, has a feel of a high end resort as well as feeling very comfortable and welcoming. We wandered around other well known Lanta resorts during our stay whilst getting to beaches etc and Mellow Mango was by far the prettiest and cleanest. Brand new beach chalets. New mopeds for rental available too. Homemade breakfast was delicious! Bed was very large and very comfortable. Lovely pool. Just a few minutes walk to the lovely Klong Khong beach (we thought it was better than Long Beach!) it felt very peaceful and lots of good food options near by.

The food was great it would have been nice if the kitchen was open for dinner also.

The location was great - right on the beach, with a lovely pool at the resort which was very relaxing. The food at the resort was lovely with great Thai and international options - recommend the chicken strips with lime mayo and the freshly made pancakes at breakfast! The bed was very comfy and the room was nicely furnished. Would definitely recommend and the Dutch couple who have own it were very friendly, helpful and accommodating

there was nothing to dislike about The Mellow Mango. brilliantly situated. The staff were amazing. nothing was too much trouble. if I’d known it was such a good stay I would 100% have stayed longer. and the most important thing for me when looking for accommodation is the quality of the beds. 🙌🙌 top job guys. excellent value for money too.

We had a lovely time at the Mellow Mango. It has a homey feel and the Dutch hosts running the place are very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful with various bookings and giving us great recommendations. Mann, their manager, is a gem.

Loved absolutely everything about the Mellow Mango. It’s in an amazing location and had a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and we felt very welcome here. We loved it so much that we even extended our stay an extra night and the owners had no issue accommodating us!

Everything was perfect.

Exceptional experience at Mellow Mango. The property is charming and tastefully decorated. The facilities are clean including the pool. The owners and staff are exceptional and very responsive, attentive, inclusive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the island. We were able to book 2 island tours and rent scooters directly with the lodge which was convenient. The breakfast is simple but delicious made with high quality ingredients. The bar's cocktails were good too. Conveniently located half way on West side of the island. Walking distance to ATM, restaurants, bars, beach, and shops. We stayed in the smallest bungalow which was still comfortable for 2 people. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Koh Lanta. Thank you Mellow Mango staff for making our stay pleasant and memorable.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mango. The owners try their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible :) whenever we needed help or had a question, they were eager to help. We ended up extending our vacation here. The rooms are cleaned every day as is the common area. Pool is very nice, it is hardly ever crowded. Only a short walk to the beach. You can also rent a scooter from the owners and travel through the whole island. We also loved both of the friendly cats and the special friendly chicken called Cat that wandered around the property 😀

We loved our stay at Mellow Mango, it was very relaxing and mellow as the name of the hotel suggests. The pool and room were all new, breakfast was delicious and opposite the hotel is a restaurant called Lucky Tree which we ate at most nights - incredible curries! The owners and the manager Maan were very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations and helping us book stuff. Thanks again! also to really see the rest of island, would recommend getting a scooter

Highly recommend this The Mellow Mango iesort for a chilled-out stay on Koh Lanta. This recently opened boutique destination is owned by Johann and Sabine, a Dutch couple, who live there with their family. You can expect a warm welcome, great hospitality and friendly advice. All the staff are fantastic too, especially Man, the front of house Manager, and nothing is a problem. The resort offers a number of well equipped bungalows with air con, WI-FI & safe, plus other great facilities, including a pool, landscaped gardens, daytime restaurant and bar. The daily breakfast offers a good choice for everyone with freshly prepared food each day. Beach access only a stone’s throw away and the resort is located in the heart of Khlong Khong Beach, where there are many bars and restaurants nearby. Scooter hire is also available, so you can explore the rest of the island at your leisure: Long Beach, Lanta Old Town and Bamboo Beach are all a must! Don’t miss out and make an early booking, as this destination is becoming increasing popular.

This is a little slice of paradise on a beautiful island. a very calm tranquil setting with all amenities you need. staff are absolutely fantastic and cater for your every need. The bungalows are quaint, cosy and clean. large beds with a fridge and ice cold AC! Bathrooms are simple and fine! Just 2 min walk from the best beach on the island, with bars and restaurants on. The lovely swimming pool is prefect for this resort, in a slightly shaded area it’s brand new and 2 seconds from the bar…

Wifi was not the best in one of the rooms we stayed at, maybe something to improve in the future.

New owners opened the beginning of February 2023 and did an amazing job. The place is peaceful and relaxing with a nice swimming pool half in the shade, which makes the water refreshing. Staff is really helpful and the rooms were very clean.

There was quite some noise from the bars next door doing the night. I’m a very light sleeper, so it was something that did effect me. But other than that, it was such a lovely hotel.

The rooms and the pool area was so lovely. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was yum.

It is a beautiful renovated resort few meters from the beach with a lots of bars and restaurants near by! The swimming pool was wonderful. What made our stay very special is the owners. Sabine and her husband was there for us for anything we could need! They gave us great tips for restaurants, trips, rental bike ……

A one night stay we wish was a one month stay. Such friendly owners and staff. Beautiful bungalows with a stunning homey feel. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, and the beach is a 1 minute walk away.
