There were a lot of IDF young soldiers. 2 were our neighbours who were too loud.

Loved the room and the views. Very nice staff. Lots of animals. Sadly the beach is not swimmable.

The minute we arrived we were asked did we want to upgrade our room but had to give them a 5 star google review. Seems strange and the upgraded room was actually worse as we wanted to inspect it. Would never get 5 star review for the sake of it. Other than that it was lovely trip.

10 minute walk down to the Haad Rin beach area. Didn’t go when parties were on and was very quite but enjoy it very much. Plenty of choice of bars restaurants. Booked our ferries out of the island and hired a bike through without any complaints.

The bungalow looks very tired, walls were dirty in the room. At the check-out they charged me for a dirty towel. But I’m sure that it wasn’t our towel and I couldn’t prove it because I wasn’t in the room when they checked it. My suggestion is to go and check the room with the staff.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool with a beautiful view.

Spacious room, delicious restaurant, great pool and bar with fun staff. Location was good and only a 10min walk from the Haad rin beach where the full moon party is. 7-11, restaurants, bars and markets all in walking distance.

While my bed was fine, my friends bed was stiff as a rock! also, the shower are due for renovation... the electric shower simply wasn't powerful enough to give a steady stream of even warm water.

Sunset Beach Villas location is Great for those looking to go to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon party, we only had to walk about 10 minutes to reach Haadrin beach!, the hotel offers a private beach facing east so I got to experience some of the most beautiful sunsets I had ever seen :),

The location of the upper bungalows not easy to access. Too many stairs to climb and when I've arrived didn't have light to access the final stairs to access my bungalow.

Lovely complex with a really nice pool right at the beach. It's close to the party beach (Haad Rin) but away enough from the chaos. Rooms were comfortable and spotless clean. Must say that hotel was a little too expensive thus a 9 rating, there may be other better price/quality ratio options available.

Some things need to be tidied up a little (new sun lounger cushions) and - for the heat sensitive - the air con in the rooms is not particularly effective.

Very pretty, basic but peaceful with everything you need close at hand. The staff are great and the hotel café was pleasant. It’s conveniently located near the buzz of Haad Rin but far enough away that it is quiet and relaxing.

Our room was up around 70 stairs at the back of the resort - not a huge problem for us but it was quite an effort and would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Housekeeping seemed to happen late in the day (or skipped us?) which meant we were often back in the room before it took place, so we went 3 or 4 days without housekeeping.

The pool, lounger, bar, restaurant, beach access and beanbags setup is so good! Never had to leave if you just want to chill. The room was nice with a good view of the sea and it was the quietest room we had in 3 months of travelling around Asia. Friendly staff throughout, put the twin beds together for us and added a missing mattress topper for us when requested.

Property is tired overall - sun loungers coming apart. Not enough loungers for amount of guests. No hammocks on any of the porches which was disappointing as photos show that. Housekeeping was hit and miss.

I like the location, in the quietest section of the town, yet still really close to everything. The food was all very good - both Thai and western dishes. It is a nice spot, great view of the sunset with very good bar and bartender.

The Bathroom wasn't great and the room wasn't very confortable

Great place to stay for the full Moon Party you can walk to the city center very easily and still be out of the confunsion. The pool is amazing. Great local restaurants near by.

The facilities need some renovation. The walls were in very bad state and it felt like there was some missing furniture in the room. The pool host was not friendly at all. When I asked him to turn down the loud party music he denied. I just wanted to relax and read my books. I was the only person in the pool, perhaps for the entire stay. I have asked the reception for help in this regard and they did (after the pool host forced them to call management). As the sunset approached music was turned once again even louder. And not the relaxing sunset jazz but some kind of loud techno. I used the pool only once and went outside to enjoy the sunset, to places without this environment.

Bell and Fon were exceptional hosts. They were super friendly and gave me amazing tips on spots to visit around the island. They were simply fabulous, always helping me as hard as they could. Fon even lend me her rain Moterbike cover once without me asking for it. The pool was amazing overlooking the see with amazing sunsets.

Our main issue with our stay was that we were charged an outrageous amount for 'damages'. My friend had been bitten very badly from mosquitoes and had used tiger balm (a very common ointment in Thailand) to soothe her bites, unfortunately, this had inadvertently stained the bed sheet in places which we were charged 1,500 TBT for. This is quite extortionate for solely a single base sheet in our opinion, especially as it cost more than what we paid for the night in the room itself! The only thing worth noting however, was that the lady who broke this news to us was very sweet and apologetic, we understood it was not her decision but the hotel's policy. Something which I feel needs readjusting!

Lovely, quiet resort with infinity pool. Friendly staff who offered a free shuttle service to ferry pier & late check-out. Villas spread out over a large amount of area (private) with spacious balconies also. Breakfast was decent quality.

I didn't realize this place was on the other side of Hadrin beach, so even though you have sea views, its not really a place to swim in the sea.

The pool is lovely, the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Nice sea views
