The beach is beautiful. The pool over looks the ocean. The rooms are very basic but cheap.

Everything about this place was perfect. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Right on the beach, walking distance to some really nice restaurants. Highly recommend getting a massage here if you stay as well. AC was very good as well. Really recommend staying here if you are visiting Koh Lanta

Wonderful views, it's practically located at the long, nice beach. You can watch the sunset from the pool or the bar at the beach. Tasty breakfast. Rooms are basic, but clean. The area is rather peaceful and quiet, however it means it's a bit remote - you'll need a taxi or a scooter to get around.

bedroom was not very clean under the bed, windows with no curtains let the sun in, ac was pointed to the bed, the beach is not very clean and it has rocks rocks the worst was that it included breakfast and they gave 4 breakfast menus to chose but when it was time to pay they say the egs where not included and charged them

the pool is cool, supermarket, bike rent, atm and tours nearby. very good green coconut curry at the restaurant

We loved everything!

We loved, loved, loved Sea Shell! We have travelled for one month in Thailand and had to come back for a third time - we just couldn’t get enough. The staff was so attentive and sweet, we instantly felt at home. The food in the restaurant is great and so is the massage. The view from the pool overlooking the ocean is nothing short of unbeliveable. The only reason we wouldn’t recommend this place, is because we’d want it to be free for whenever we decide to come back - which we will!

No sunshades at the pool and no loungers provided by this hotel on the beach.

Very nice modern bungalow just a few steps from the beach. Very clean and comfortable. A good location with a good selection of bars and restaurants just a stroll up the beach. A very friendly family run resort, just a small number of bungalows, pleasantly set amongst well kept gardens. Breakfast overlooking the beach and sea.

Brilliant location and excellent food. The staff were lovely and really helpful with booking the next steps of our journey. The beach has quite a few entertaining bars for an evening stroll. Great massage. A fantastic place to chill.

A very good small well run hotel. Rooms are right angle to the beach, a couple at the front with beach views over the nice sparkling clean pool. The restaurant is beach front with tables on the beach at night. Our room was the superior suite sea view had the promised sea view over the pool. A reasonable size ,very clean, comfortable bed, fridge, a/c, WiFi etc, all good. Breakfast was the OK basic one in Thailand. Eggs to choice, bread with butter and jam, tea or coffee and juice. Basically the same everywhere, not great but an OK start to the day. The sun beds around the pool were never full with there being some sunbeds also on the beach. Either eat in at night at the hotels or take a night beach stroll to one of the many other similar offering nearby. Overall very comfortable and very good value for a beachfront hotel with a pool.

Being constantly asked in the resort to have a massage

This is a small, friendly resort, on the beach with a very chilled, relaxed feel. The pool and the surrounding area was superb. The staff were excellent. It is family owned and they cater for everything. They were extremely helpful. The food was delicious and not expensive. All in all a great place to relax and chill out.

Checking out from paradise

It was all perfect! The location couldn't be better and the staff was super lovely! This property is managed by two families and they work really hard to make you feel at home. They do bbq every day at the beach from 6pm and the food at the restaurant was one of the best we had in Thailand. The sunset is unbeatable and so is their happy hour. We would definitely go back!

I can't say enough good things about Sea Shell. Run by a family where multiple generations joyfully work alongside one another, you feel like a family guest more than a hotel guest. The place feels pure, gentle, kind, and joyful. It is like Little House on the Prairie but in Thailand in the 21st century and the family business is hospitality. The rooms are simple, but super clean and have all you need. The place is small/boutique (only ten bungalows or so) and it is right on the beach so serene breakfasts await you in the morning and sublime sunsets at night. Last but not least, I loved the food. I ate almost every meal here during my three week stay. My favorite? The chicken pad thai. Oh, and the wifi is super strong, which is important for me as a digital nomad. So, huge praise for this place. I've been a nomad for three years now and only sublime escapes in Slovenia rivals the genuine kindness and hospitality I experienced at Sea Shell. I give it my highest possible recommendation.

Everything! This was a great place to stay. We keft the resort because we thought we have to see something from Koh Lanta but tbh we would have wanted just to stay in the resort. Everything was there and just perfect.

Beds were quite firm. Pool bathrooms could be improved, but we just walked up to our room after the first encounter.

Location could not be beat. Food was delicious. Staff were extremely attentive. We liked it so much, we extended for another 2 nights!

the rooms were simple but very clean and big , i find the bed very comfortable as i like hard beds , food was delicious and the people were very kind , good choice of cocktails also , location was perfect as in the middle of few bars and restaurant to enjoy during the evening without using any taxi etcc, beautiful sunset ! and the bar set up little tables every day with happy hour to enjoy the beautiful sunset

The bed was a little hard.

Great place to stay. The breakfast was good with fresh brewer coffee. The location is perfect! Just far enough from town, great beach with plenty to do. A scooter gets you everywhere you need to go.
