The Sea Rock is a unique hotel set in the cliff face looking over the sea. The lady who runs it is lovely, as are her 5 cats 😻. It is a bit of a hike up the hill to get to the hotel, so I would strongly recommend the moped.. we hired one for around 300bht. This will also allow you to get around this amazing island 🙏🏽 Ko Phangnan is so beautiful and my favorite island so far in Thailand. We would use The Sea Rock again

Germanyit is located close to a street and the walls are quite thin so during the night it was quite noisy. we stayed there for 5 days and they didn’t clean our room once.. not even the bin so we had to take care of our trash by ourselves. no water on two days (at least for some hours). pool is a Ko
our room and auch a nice view! we even had a balcony! the staff brings two bottles of water each day which is nice.

GermanyUpper level is more noisy due to improper noise roof insulation. the balcony is walkway and hang out for everyone so at night people may be loud. there was no restaurant in the resort, but down the road are many good places to walk to. hard Thai mattresses.
Kata is a sweetie and running this place very well! we like the vibe and the view. pay extra to get sea front view - its worth it!

FranceThe room is a bit dark (more lighting at night would be nice) and there is little privacy as the wall that separates the room from the outside is a window wall. Some people can walk in front of the window as it is common area. During the day we tended to leave the window door open to have more light inside. But although the hotel had other guests, they were all very discrete and it was ok in the end.
Nice place to stay for 2 nights, not far from the peer and close to nice beaches and great hikes. We were welcomed by a very nice lady and although we booked the room last minute, it was ready when we arrived. The room was nice and comfortable.

CanadaThe bed was so hard, the reason they call it sea rock resort is cuz the bed seems to be made out of rocks. Our backs were broken after our stay. The pool was alittle dirty and seemed low on water. they only had 2 pool chairs for the whole property so if they were used u had no where to go.. but other than that it is an okay place to stay
it was close to the night market, about 7 min bike ride. the room was cool as it had rocks in it.

United States of AmericaWhat a remarkable experience! The owner was so incredibly welcoming and friendly, always with a big smile and a positive attitude. Her daughter works as housekeeping and was so sweet and pleasant. The view from the top two floors was unbelievable. Beautiful view of the sea and islands, with palm trees all around. The pool was a comfortable temperature, very clean, and steps away from the room! There are several very nice oceanfront restaurants within 2-5 minutes walk. Literally across the street, with amazing service and food. The room was clean, beds for the most part comfortable, the linens all clean and fresh. You can tell they deep clean the rooms often. (unlike MANY places I've stayed at!!!!) Overall we had an incredibly wonderful experience. I would gladly stay here again. We were there for 5 nights, and didn't really want to leave! I could live there. We were lucky to wake up one morning to a monk doing a spiritual blessing on the property. All around amazing experience.

GermanyMy shower did not Work, so i Had to shower at the Pool. If you dont ASK every day you dont get Water or room cleaning. Next 7/11 2km away... No Restaurant near, expect the 2 bars. Besides the Pickup Taxis want 100 Baht even For that Short distance
It was the Last aircon room i could Rent on ko phangan some days before full Moon Party. So it wasnt really a choice. The Price is OK for an aircon room though. Its situated between Amsterdam Bar and top rock bar... So you dont have to Rent a Scooter For that reason ;)
