We had pouring rains nearly all week, so we felt dampness and all the humidity in the bathroom. It was difficult to dry our towels or clothes, and also a bit of musty smell was apparent. But I suppose that in a good and sunny weather this wouldn't be a problem.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and willingness to help made a significant difference, making us feel welcomed and valued. During our check in they noticed it was my birthday and gave me mango sticky rice with a candle as a treat. It was a big surprise ❤️ The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The gardens are a true highlight, showcasing lush tropical plants that create a serene environment perfect for relaxation. I found myself wandering through the gardens, enjoying the tranquility they offered. The pool area was nice, clean. The layout allowed for both socializing and quiet moments, making it an ideal spot for everyone. Overall, Sea Dance Resort combines good service with stunning surroundings, making it a perfect getaway in Koh Samui. It is located in peacefulI area, in a distance from the city or shops and restaurants, so you have to walk a bit or take a taxi. So more for people looking for silent escape. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation experience!

The resort location is remote and you should take it into consideration. A lot of technical issues at the rooms (the staff response was fast). In this cost there are much better alternatives.

The beach is almost not usable. Construction works nearby were quite loud.

Beachfront villa was a dream. The staff was extremely friendly and we almost had all the area for ourselves as it was quite quiet.

Our stay was too short!

We were staying i Sea Dance resort in Koh Samui 14 days mid October 2024. We had a wonderful stay with the perfect location for our family, incl perfect accommodation for us. We were a family with two kids ages 6 and 8. We stayed in the Two Bedroom Pool Villa. Our family looked for a quiet, private place, by the beach, with good rooms and great dining. Sea Dance lived up to all our expectations and more. The personel was so nice and welcoming. They made us feel comfortable and we got to relax 100%. The rooms were clean, spacious and the bathrooms so beautiful. Nice beds, if you like them firm. The pool was clean and wonderful. We enjoyed the pools - both the big main pool and our own private pool was always clean and fresh. The Restaurant is serving some of the best thai food in the area, but also have several international dishes. Everything was delicious. The varied drinks menu was also great! The beach was rocky, but so nice and private. At high tide you can manage without shoes but at low tide we recommend bathing shoes. Kayaks and paddle boards was provided by Sea Dance, and the sea was perfect for this. Of course we would have prefered a more sandy beach but we know that you don’t get this type of privacy with more popular beaches. We just really enjoyed the privacy. It was important for us to be in a quiet area, with nice staff, beautiful surroundings and good food. And we got all that. If you want to go out to dine elsewhere, or go on trips, you can come by via Grab or taxi. It is close to many of the bigger areas for shopping and dining (10 min to Chaweng and 15 min to Bophut). Massage clinics are close by foot. We had the most wonderful vacation and would recommend anyone looking for a place that is secluded yet close to everything, and want to experience comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We really need the highlight the staff which were so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They really made our stay Exceptional! We would definitely come back!

The sea isn't swimmable because it's very rocky which makes it very dangerous to swim. The location is far from everything so you'll be very dependent on transfer.

Beach was amazing - it wasn't sandy but a bit coarser so you could collect sea-glass from it. Food was really lovely and we were fairly close to walk to 7/11 and some other restaurants if wanted.

The wine list needs updating very poor selection. More privacy needed in Villa 1 around pool.

The resort is set in a tranquil part of the Island and the staff are very discreet. The restaurant menu was extensive as was the breakfast buffet. A great place to relax for a few days.

It’s difficult to swim at the ocean there as the coral is sharp and there are many rocks. I did find a way through the rocks though and then it was lovely swimming out deeper. But you just need to be careful, reef shoes are a good idea!

The room was excellent. I didn’t have a private plunge pool, but that didn’t matter to me. I really enjoyed my round bungalow and the outdoor shower and toilet. The coffee at breakfast was excellent!

The pool is rather small, and although it is located on the ocean, you have to walk for a very long time or more likely take a cab to get to the beach or anywhere of interest.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and cute (with outdoor bathrooms decorated with plants. The entire resort is very pretty with nice landscape and view of the ocean. The breakfast was very tasty, with good coffee.

Although everything was perfect, the breakfast could maybe use an upgrade to match the good quality that the restaurant offer for dinner.

Where can I even start? We booked this resort seing the rave reviews it received on booking.com - and no lies were told. We had an amazing stay at Sea Dance. The villas are beautiful and spacious and really well taken care of. The facilities are gorgeous and at intimate scale. The pool area and the views are exceptional. The resort is a peaceful oasis that will make you appreciate Samui even more. And the staff, who is attentive, genuine and extremely kind is the cherry on the top that truly make the experience 11/10. The hotel is on a more quiet part of the island, but still provide an easy access to the main attractions. We also found the most gorgeous massage place just down the street of the hotel which was the perfect addition to our stay (Cheongmon Health Massage, owned by Tiya- you won’t be disappointed). Our stay was so perfect that we decided to change the last leg of our trip to come back to Sea Dance because of how good it made us feel. And we’ll most certainly be back again!

The staff was friendly and helpful during my entire stay. Villa was spacious and clean. The restaurant had delicious options, and the breakfast buffet was great. The pool was always clean. Location did require walking for at least 10 minutes to restaurants and stores or a taxi to go farther. However, it was nice and quiet, which was exactly what I wanted.

Doors do not lock very well, seem to open easily without a key. The beach the property is on is very rocky but Choengmon beach is in walking distance which is very sandy.

Really beautiful resort tucked away in a very private part of the island. Villas are super comfortable and surrounded by beautiful fauna. Loved having a private little pool. The staff is really nice and hospitable. Breakfast is great.
