It was the best place on Salad Beach so we didn’t have many other choices in the evening

This is a great little resort, very personable and friendly staff who were always around to help. The rooms were beautiful with smart TV and Netflix. The infinity pool faces to the beach and is absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional!

The food from the restaurant was just ok.. breakfast need to be with a little more variety.. As we were not with car or bikes the location was a bit disconnected and far from everything.. we had to spend so much on taxi!

The staff was really nice, kind and helpful at all times. The resort was clean and comfortable.

This place is SO AMAZING! Such a beautiful small place, Only 10 rooms The beach is paradise, small and prestine! From the moment we arrived, we were so wonderfully looked after, the staff are some of the most beautiful people I have ever met! So so cool, gentle and know how to look after you , our 10 year old daughter loved this place!! I Our favourite place in Thailand hands down!!!!! Do yourself a favour and stay here Thanks so much salad hut! We will be back!! 🙏😊

Staff- did not travel with kids but my grandmother 🙂but the staff are all so beautiful with anyone Pool Beach Food - have the Massaman Curry - delicious!! Cleanliness

This place is so wonderful - from check in to rooms, food, pool, views, beach or staff. It's absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend renting a bike/car though because there is not too much to do in town but perfect if you just want to zone out for a couple of days.

Couldn’t say anything that we didn’t like.

The best thing about this place is it’s location and the people that are working there! It was a great time we had at Salad Hut. The houses are all around the pool which is directly at the beach. From each house you can enjoy an extraordinary view over both the pool and the sea. This really makes you feel as if you are in paradise. Everyone working there is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are super clean and have good standard. The beach that is directly in front is a very clean, white sand beach… simply beautiful!

Breakfast was good and high quality but only Western style, not Thai. Also variety gets a little bit boring after a couple of days.

Amazing location, direct sea front. To us, it's the best beach on Ko Pha-ngan. Kayaks for free usage, allows you to explore the bay. Staff was friendly. Just as information: access road is very steep (be careful with the motor bike).

The location is incredible, the best resort in Salad beach, and the beach is so beautiful and quite. The staff is so welcoming and nice, the best staff we had in Thailand! The food and vibe in restaurant is great we didn’t want to go out of the hotel. We will be back for sure!!

Our neighbours had small children and because the bungalows are close together we could hear them from our room.

Great location right on the beach. Each bungalow has a day bed and hammock on its patio, great for relaxing.

Fantastic hotel set in a superb landscape. Excellent conditions and amenities and amazing staff with their customers, adults and children. The pool area is wonderful. The sunset at this location is indescribable. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast is very good as well the bar/restaurant service. Kayaks and paddles are free.

excellent location on a beautiful beach. Small hotel but top quality. Infinity pool set against soft wooden decking, & palm trees, private hammocks on each spacious room terrace. Relaxing restaurant to watch sun go down. This would suit most discerning of taste. Hotel staff super friendly as are the local community. Free to use paddle boards & kayaks & decent snorkelling just out from beach.

Everything was really great. The reef infront of the hotelwas great for snorkeling (even saw a turtle). The employees where really nice and always very helpfull. The food was also very good. All in all it definitely exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful time in this very lovely place. The hotel is located right at the beach and consists of roughly 12 bungalows and a main building with seating and lounging areas. The rooms are very clean, well equipped, in good condition and are serviced carefully daily. The exterior is also good in shape and the infinity pool is just amazing, including the comfortable sun beds around the pool area and close to the pool and beach. The breakfast was amazing and they even prepared meals for special diets. The banana pancakes were delicious as well as the fresh juices. They also had a very good additional menu card for food throughout the whole day with starters, smoothies, desserts, western & thai dishes, burgers, grilled meat/fish as well as pasta. The fresh food was always very good, rapidly served, well composed & decorated. All that wouldn’t be possible without the people doing their job with such a passion, friendliness and enthusiasm. We immediately felt at home, had a wonderful time to relax and felt part of being in the “salad hut family”. At the same time they stroke very well the balance between acting professionally as well as feeling included in that entire setting. Many thanks again for all that you have done for us, that hotel and the service we received has exceeded our expectations and we can strongly recommend this place to others.

we were they while the tide was low during the day so it was impossible to swim during the day. And i would consider putting the adjustable shower head holder in the shower since now there was only one position available which was too high so we always had to hold it.

I rarely rate properties so high unless I am absolutely sure they deserved it, and Salad Hut definitely did. very good breakfast offered with a lot of choices, very very clean facilities from rooms to the pool to the restaurant and beyond. staff very pleasant and helpful. very good choice for families with kids. my daughter loved the pool. located in a quiet beach.

A little expensive for the property type but we still thought it was a good value by American standards (maybe not by Thai standards). Lack of storage in the rooms meant we lived out of suitcases- a bit messy. You have to request housekeeping each day- seems like the default should be the opposite. You need to book your own tours- staff do not know anything about snorkeling or hiring boats (in a harbor filled with boats) and do not have gear to rent or borrow.

We loved this hotel. Small in size but has everything one needs- quality accommodations, good food, friendly staff, great location. Even the non beachfront rooms are just a stones throw from the beach and have balconies with beach views, unlike almost every other property on Haad Salad. That said, choose the deluxe beachfront villa (pictures in photos) or two bedroom beachfront (for family) if available - these two are clearly the best rooms on salad beach!! We began our stay in the family bungalow— nice but very tight for two adults and two young children, since there is almost no luggage space and also the step down to bathroom was dangerous. Breakfast is very good, so good in fact that guests at other hotels come here (in part for the excellent Gaggia Italian super automatic coffee machines).
