There were some hairs in the bathtub that the cleaning service should have noticed. The Hotel is a bit outdated.

The women at reception helped me when I arrived in Bangkok with some recommendations, and helped me received my delayed luggage. The hotel is a bit outdated but it served it's purpose of good location, convenient price, and using the room as a touch base for exploring Bangkok

Not much. At this price point you shouldn’t be too nit picky. The bathroom fittings are quite old and could do with updating, but they all work, the cold water is cold, the hot water is hot and all the water stays in the bathroom.

Great location, older rooms,but good size, comfortable and well maintained. The staff are great and the pool is a standout. There are newer, fancier places around, but The Rose has a charm that keeps bringing me back.

The path leading to the pool smelled bad. However I reckon if you exit the hotel and enter from the side of The Rose Residence; it’s ok (except you might not want to do that in your swimming pool attire).

It was a nice confortable hotel. The pool was nice, the rooms are spacious and the staff was kind. They have an option to check out super late that is amazing! For 600 bahts I could check out at 7PM! Which was the best service ever, when your flight is late at night! They can also hold your bags at the reception until you’re ready to leave but I preferred keeping the room.

Mosquito bites sitting around the pool, noise of neighbours on the first night, but staff made sure we were not disturbed again 👍

The lift is very slow and small. The outside area by the pool is not very clean.

I like me the location most of all. Lost of shops, restaurants and bars nearby.

Room used to be a smoking one so it smelled a bit wack. The rooms where not well cleaned we found quite some hairs around :’)

The swimming pool is great to dissipate the heat, the drinks and cocktails are also great.

We booked a room just for the day as we had a late flight and the Rose Residence, where we'd originally stayed was full so couldn't have a late checkout. It was £30. The hotel isn't luxury and quite basic but for the price it's bloody brilliant. Clean and well run. The pool area is gorgeous with all the greenery and the restaurant Ruen Urai is excellent.

The property is in a fantastic location and hidden off a quiet street. I loved the two wise ladies on the front desk, they were really kind and informative. The pool in the back area is a hidden gem. The price is great and it is quiet.

Rooms are looking tired. Ac is on its last legs. Rug could do with a thorough clean or disposal.

it's old but it's not a problem. The elevator does not have the same level with the floor when it reaches to 5th floor, it can be really dangerious if you fall.

Lack of cleanliness on the streets surrounding the hotel. The hotel itself was ideally kept. The restaurant is wonderful.

The rose hotel is a hidden jewel directly behind le meridien Bangkok. It is two blocks walking from a hospital. It is located behind all the tall buildings around it so the location is blissfully quiet in the city center. If you can overlook the proximity to pat pong in the night market it is a superior place to stay for all matter of wholesome activities. The restaurant in a traditional wooden tie house is wonderful.

I asked the front desk to arrange for a cab ride from the hotel to the airport early in the morning prior to my departure the next day. When I came down at 3AM in the next morning at the lobby, the person at the desk (not the same person), was baffled by me being there waiting for the cab. However, she managed to book a cab for me to the airport; the cab arrived at the hotel approx. 3.30AM 👍

I did not remember when I did the booking, but I was pleasantly surprised that my room came with a bathtub! (There has been a recent trend in new developed hotels that room with bathtub usually are considered premium and priced higher compared to room without one.)
