The property itself was great. However the beach was very disappointing, with murky water you would not want to swim in. If we had known this we would have stayed somewhere with a swimming pool to cool off as we were travelling with two small kids.

Fantastic location right on the beach, the view was spectacular! Very friendly service, with private entry and large balcony. The room was cleaned to perfection daily with water refilled.

We had an amazing stay at Riviera Beach Hotel. I was particularly impressed by the manager, Pito, who greeted us very warmly each day and was a fantastic host who was able to help us check in and out very smoothly.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach! The room was beautiful and although the room I booked was facing the road, it was quiet and peaceful at night. Pito, the manager was just amazing! Super friendly and helpful. He takes the time to get to know his guests and will help with anything. Amazing sunset from the beach in front or the dining area balcony. The hotel also own The Deck beach club, which was one of my favourite places. Lovely people and the food was amazing. I will definitely stay at Riviera when I come back to Koh Samui!

We stayed for 10 nights for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Pito was friendly and welcoming and so helpful. The room was beautiful, comfortable bed, tea, coffee, water available, TV, air con and Wi-Fi all very good. Room was cleaned daily. The view over the beach was stunning. Location was also perfect. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby but still very quiet - no loud music or people. Moped hire just next to the hotel so easy to get to the rest of the island. We’ll be back!

Beach near hotel is not excellent, the beach club linked with hotel is asking minimum spend 2000 bath. It has very expensive food and poor value for money.

The view from balcony is the best. Location is very close to the Fishermans Village.

Incredible, i booked last minute (last minute changes to trip) and i was rewarded. I was able to check in early and the host was absolutley lovely. Even hooked me up with a free espresso the morning i left waiting for my cab! Superb hospitality. Room was very new or recently renovated, fantastic spot in the fishing village and quiet.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. Any request has been addressed immediately. Great location - very close to the fisherman’s village main walkway, but yet not that close if you are looking for a peaceful leisure in the amazing sea view balcony

Nothing everything was great

We have just had a fantastic 6 night stay at the Riviera Beach Hotel. The hotel was spotless and we had a sea view room which had the most amazing views and is a must if staying there. The breakfasts for 250 Bhat (£5) was great and what better place to eat it than sat on the restaurant balcony with an ocean view. The hotel is in a great location at the quieter east end of walking street but only a short 2 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. Pepito the manager was great and nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel at home from the outset. All in all a fantastic 6 night stay and would highly recommend but make sure you get a sea view room.

It was one of the best hotel we have ever stayed! Sea view room with balcony is amazing! Own beach that is just 5 meters from the hotel. The street the hotel is situated with a lot of restaurants and bars. Very close to everything! Thank you housekeeping stuff who cleaned the room every day and leave the new towels every day too. It was so nice to come back to the clean room. Pito, Hotel Manager, is very serviceminded and friendly guy. He knows everything about the island and can give a lot of good advices. So take a cup of coffee with him in the lobby balcony with the view to the sea! We recommend this place to everyone and we will come back again to this hotel.

As I had a Mountain View room which was lovely, it would have been nice to have a light net current for privacy so not having to close main currents during the day for buildings opposite to peek in!
