We absolutely loved our stay in Poonsiri. 1. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They helped us find our way around Ao Ng, helped us find scooters and laundry places. They gave us suggestions and they were always happy to just have a chat regarding any questions. 2. The view in our rooms was absolutely breathtaking. We were by a lake, and that in itself was so beautiful to wake up to. We paid 20 bhat for fish food so we were able to feed the fishes and listen to them in the water. There are monkeys in the resort but they weren’t any bother. If anything, they made our stay even better. We’d wake up to them in our balcony and as soon as we opened the doors, they knew to stay a distance away. Having a smoke during the night, feeding the fishes, listening to the crickets and monkeys whilst looking at the stars was one of my highlights. 3. The room itself was beautiful. Big and spacious. Well airconditioned. Room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t get any mosquito bites in the room, and if there were any in the room, the resort provided a massive tool to get rid of them. Couldn’t fault this resort.

United KingdomThe monkeys were a pain, jumping about on top of the roofs and hanging about.
The location was absolutely beautiful, set on the lake with the mountains behind. Simply stunning. The room was lovely and the view from the balcony just great. The breakfast was nice, lots of options. There was a free shuttle to the town which was very useful. The staff were really lovely and so helpful and it was a pleasure speaking with them. We would definitely stay at this property again.

NetherlandsThis is our second time we’ve stayed here, because we love it so much. The location is peaceful and quiet, but not to far from Ao Nang beach. You can take a shuttle from the resort to Ao Nang beach. It has breathtaking views. The food is great, the rooms are very clean, spacious and neat and the staff is excellent. They gave us a warm welcome and they were very friendly and kind. Special thanks to Deen and Anon who’ve made us feel like we’re home and to the duty manager and the front desk who were very helpful. We travel a lot and stayed in many 4 and 5 stars hotels/resorts, but this one is definitely our number one, especially because of the service.

United KingdomI was hoping to rate this a 10, the only thing I could fault was when we were leaving I wanted to check that I had everything so naturally we checked under the bed but when we pulled it away there was webs and all sorts signifying that under the bed was not cleaned in a long time bar that the rest of the place was clean but I just thought it was worth mentioning.
This was resort was nestled away in a lovely quiet setting. We stayed here for two nights and found it very relaxing. There was a free shuttle into Krabi where we could walk around the markets and enjoy some dinner. We really enjoyed the monkey's being around, don't let it put you off. They are timid, if you walk past them they will not bother you in anyway. The hotel staff are also very good at keeping them away from the pool and restaurant area, I think the monkey's know the score by now but we did love to see them walk about, it made it a very authentic stay. The staff here were also the best compared to any resort I have stayed at yet. Always smiling, always saying hello and when I didn't feel very well after my island tour they brought me a lovely room service meal.

Lovely hotel, felt like we were in the jungle! Very comfortable. Easy to get to and from the centre however you did need a shuttle or taxi each time.

Everything about this resort is impeccable. The breakfast is exceptionally good, a really good breakfast. All the staff were eager to please and the porters took great delight in driving you in a golf cart to your room if it was raining. A really cheerful and friendly place. You can purchase a water bottle filled with fish food and feed the fish off of the balcony and the monkeys are lovely and curious, They will trash your balcony if you leave any food and one decided to eat the cover off my Vietnam book ! They were lovely and I would sit on the balcony smoking a cigarette and they would be no bother, just keep food away. They come at sunrise and sunset. All in all the Poonsiri is by far the best place I have stayed here in Thailand. A real pleasure. Locally there is the Natin Spice garden and the goat farm, which was very charming. The shuttle service every two hours to the Landmark is superb and the porters were really helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. I learned a lot from them. Enjoy your stay !

Great free shuttle bus into centre of Ao Nang from 9-7 every hour. Nice room with a huge bathroom. Nice pool. Pretty, they accommodate well to help avoid getting flies in your room even when located on the water.
