Rooms a little tired and the advert on booking.com states wine and champagne are provided with the room rate and weren’t . Our room was noisy and sleep distrusting due to the insanely loud shower next door ( which was unfortunately used by our neighbours 6 times !) and the hand dryers in the bar. The advert also conveys a small boutique style hotel and pub and this was much larger than we expected

The location was great , the staff were very friendly, extremely dog friendly which was great and superb breakfast

There was a lot of noise coming up from the pub in the evening, with music playing until gone midnight. Conversation etc from the bar is only to be expected when staying at a pub, but the music could have been turned off/down earlier. Breakfast coffee was awful.

Room was comfortable and a good size. Foòd was good and the staff friendly and welcoming.

Only mix up was over breakfast, which was supposed to be included. As I leave for work early, I always expect to skip, but left my wife at the property to enjoy hers a a more sensible hour. Unfortunately, despite asking twice as to when breakfast was served until & when the quietest time to come down was with the dogs, she ended up with no breakfast either as a staff meeting was being conducted in the restaurant.

Fabulous place in the countryside, wonderful food & staff & the best bitbof all is that its so dog friendly 😍 it is a large Inn so plenty of room to accommodate people who aren't keen on dogs. A great all round place to stay with pets, children or for solo & couples.

The lighting in the bathroom could be a little bit better, it was a little dim. Everything else was grand.

The staff were fantastic, made your you had everything you needed. Room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing that took this down from a 10/10 was a bit of noise from the kitchen below. Not that this could really be helped. I wouldn’t have swapped our room as it was palatial

Stunning room and location. Staff were very friendly and made a proper fuss of our two dogs. Some lovely walks. Food in the pub was great too.

Could do with a coat of pant everywhere.

Breakfast was excellent. We had dinner two nights which was very good. Room was very comfortable just neede a lick of paint. Staff were great. Very friendly.

I couldn’t find anything negative

Such a beautiful place just off of the road and set back in a lovely quiet spot. Very friendly staff and a beautiful room with plenty of space and facilities. I love the fact that I had my own room off of the main double room. Would be a great room for families with small children. Bonus is that they are dog friendly as well so I will be returning here with mine. Very nice food at a reasonable price and a good selection of drinks etc available. A really nice breakfast with help yourself to cereals, toast, tea, coffee etc and your main hot food order was taken and served fresh to your table. A good selection from the menu.

Very comfortable, Daisy the waitress was nice and gave us some tips of places to visit with our dog. Friendly staff and good location. Our dog especially liked the sausage for breakfast each morning and he was made to feel welcome. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The mid week carvery on the Wednesday was plentiful and tasty. We ate in the restaurant 3 times and each time it was reasonably priced and good food. Great selection of real ale.
