A bit far from center need to take a tuktuk or taxi to everywhere but such a special spot that it’s worth it

Staff at pool Bar a bit uninterested, not the friendliest. Receptions and restaurant staff very nice.

Overall it was such a nice stay, but the bed was rock hard, couldn’t get a decent night sleep over the 3 nights we stayed. We decided to have dinner in the hotel one night - wasn’t the best. Bruschetta for start and a carbonara dish - very bland.

A couple travelling around Thailand - stayed here for 3 nights. An amazing place to stay, views from your room and the grounds were great. Staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. There’s a free shuttle that runs every 2 hours through the day until 7pm to Ao Nang - huge range of shops, bars, restaurants and the night market (highly recommend). We wanted to rent a bike and the shuttle guy recommended a great place just down the road. He even dropped us there - lovely guy. Out of all the places we have stayed so far, this place had the best breakfast. Coffee was so good and the pastry’/croissants were always fresh. Landry available on site - 60baht for a wash and 90 baht to dry. They are auto set, just put your money in and away you go. The rooms were always clean and air con worked great. I’m sure you’ve already seen there’s monkey around, so beware of your belongings.

This resort is Fantastic!! Many thanks to Nuna and her staff for giving us such a fantastic experience. Every one was very happy to help, polite with nothing ever being too much trouble. The location is only 1.5 miles for Ao Nang but feels like you are in a remote jungle setting with so much wildlife and beautiful surroundings. The monkeys do give you an early wake up call but it was a great thing to experience and made sure we had a full day… There’s loads to do Elephants 2mins away for feeding , bathing etc. fishing 1km away. The staff are super happy to arrange type of excursion you like from island boat trips to temples etc. The food is first class and super cheap and cocktails. There’s a free shuttle bus up till 7pm into the beach from very busy town where’s there’s tonnes of food places , night markets and entertainment. A taxi back is around 200bht (£5) we’ve just move to Kau Lak to a Platimum resort and wish we had another week in Poonsiri!!

This hotel was by far the best of the 6 hotels we stayed in, in total. Modern, clean beautiful position, very obliging staff can literally not fault it.

This is in a beautiful setting in a jungle Infront of lovely limestone rocks. The nature is awesome with many different animals including monkeys and fish. The pool and lake are amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything was perfect for a 4 day stay.

We liked everything.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Also very efficient. Narna was so smiley and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect with a beautiful view and ideal to be away from the more lively area. Easy to get to the town with hotel shuttle service and to the beach. Highly recommend going to chicken island. Rooms at the hotel are perfect, very clean and also have a lovely view. Was such a great experience seeing the monkeys swing from tree to tree. Food at the restaurant was gorgeous and cocktails too! Would highly recommend, would definitely come back and will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so amazing! There was not anything that I did not like. All of our needs were very well taken care off. We loved our experience.

The staff were the highlight of the stay. They were excellent, very friendly, helpful and informative. The location of the hotel was great, as it was away from the busy part of Ao Nang town, but close enough to be able to get there quickly with the free hotel shuttle. The setting of the hotel, next to the Son river and with the mountains in the background, was excellent. The two bedroom villa was very comfortable for my family of four, and in very good condition.

Not easy to use Grab taxis from the hotel because of remoteness. However the shuttle to Aonang beach is every 2 hours so not a problem if you’re organised.

It was quiet and relaxing. The wildlife was amazing to see with monkeys and monitor lizards, as well as being able to view the elephants in the river from the hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good if you’re not a fussy eater.

I suspect something to be wrong with the water in the pool. All the kids travelling with us (5 in all) had a red rash on their arms that was quite painful. They had been at pools for the past 2 weeks in a row without any problems.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for: A very good hotel, just far enough away from buzzing Ao Nang to have a calm retreat. High quality rooms.

Booked this lovely resort for 3 nights moving between destinations and had a very comfortable stay. The villas are very clean and have a wonderful outlook. I celebrated my birthday and the staff made great efforts to make me feel special. Would highly recommend this resort to others and we hope to return one day.

Shuttle that was supposed to take us back to the apartment didn’t show up so we planned our timings around a bus that they didn’t send - it wasn’t expensive to get back to the hotel but just annoying and time consuming after waiting 20 minutes

Location, food and our room were perfect. I loved staying here with my husband and 5 year old. We had the two bed lagoon room which was a great size. The location was so peaceful . We saw monkeys in the morning, and enjoyed the elephant sanctuary next door.

We had one bathroom amongst the 4 of us.....but that is not such a big problem

The staff were really courteous & very helpful despite the language barrier. They arranged a trip for us at a very short notice. Even the tour guy was very very helpful! The rooms were large, well designed and had lots of sunshine. The breakfast was a huge affair. Even though I am a vegetarian, I had plenty to dig into. Same goes for the ala carte dinner. We managed to get into the kayaks which was good fun.
