The staff are friendly and always smiling. Great food at the resort restaurant, excellent breakfast. Rooms are clean and with large TV, Netflix included. Ao Nang beach is approximately 10 min drive. Kids friendly and has games room, free Kayaking. Big swimming pool, depth of up to 210cm (need to watch your kids if they can't swim) They also have self-service laundry, or they can help send to laundry service (next day collection) You can feed the fish from your balcony, which my kids enjoyed a lot. The friendly monkeys sometimes visits the balcony looking for food, so never leave anything there unattended. My family gave them water as they were thirsty.

Quiet, super clean and peaceful resort and with excellent resort staff. Duty Manager Nana was so helpful and make our trip so enjoyable, so do Poppy with her support and help. Both the shuttle driver, Nam and the Malay speaking D were very helpful and kind. The sweet smile restaurant girl who i forget the name is also kind and helpful. We enjoyed the effort of them making our 24th wedding anniversary a memorable one. Definitely will be staying here on next Krabi trip, with my whole family. Tq all.

Resort is an exceptional place in the middle of nature Monkeys make their appearance between 5 pm - 6 pm and they are lovely Feeding fish from my room window was a great experience. There were no mosquitos around. Resort has a nice deep swimming pool . Wifi worked well . I love breakfast buffet selection was good for me. Room service is very reasonable . Staff were nice and helpful .

English levels of the wait staff were low but they were very sweet. The property is a bit outside of Ao Nang but that’s also part of its attraction.

The setting is very scenic. Nature including elephants and monkeys are close by. This is a great place for kids. Prices were very reasonable.

The hotel is a short drive from any bars or food places but there is a shuttle bus every 2 hours and a taxi (grab) is not too expensive.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are lovely with a balcony and pond view. Monkeys are everywhere, breakfast is amazing and the pool is awesome. Would 100% recommend staying here.

The resort is bit out of the way so transportation is always needed but Grab, Bolt and the shuttle make it very easy to get around.

Poonsiri was the highlight of our trip. The staff were lovely, food and drinks were great, amenities are modern and clean and the rooms were beautiful. The macaques family, who inhabits the land the resort is built on, were a wonderful bonus and my kids loved feeding the fish straight off our private balcony. It was a short drive to a national park with fresh water swimming in waterfalls, and the Elephant Care House where longer (ethical) hands on experiences are available with the elephants - also, at times you can see the elephants bathing in another sanctuary next door from a well designed viewing deck. Another bonus is the free shuttle to Ao Nang markets and beach, where it is a longboat ride to beautiful Railley Beach (TIP: take reef shoes in case the tide is out on the way back - you have to walk off the boat to Ao Nang shore - the water is not clear at Ao Nang and there are sharp rocks). We would return to stay in Poonsiri Resort again without hesitation.

Just enjoyed

Wow is what I say. Saw monkeys, elephants bathing in river, water monitors in their lake and a huge one coming out of lake however as really shy turned around and headed back into water. We had family unit which was large and consisted of two rooms so had space.

There could be a vending machine or small shop with snacks. The restaurant and room service was great but sometimes we did just want a few snacks and didn’t have anything with us.

It was away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang and felt like a little sanctuary. There was a shuttle that was convenient to get to the main area, or tuk tuks and Grab was easy enough. The staff were so kind and friendly! We loved them. They were very helpful in the few times that we needed them.

Reception area needs more attention on cleaning

The rooms were really clean ,had everything you need for your stay ,loved how they thought about the about everything little thing you might need ,staff was welcoming,loved the setting of the hotel it’s set in beautiful rural location,only 5minz drive away from ao nang town ,breakfast was lovely not much choice but it was good enough for our family as we have toast egg tea,juice and that was provided,only thing that could be improved on was the reception area could do with more better cleaning ,as I sat on the egg chair in the reception I looked up and can see cobwebs all over it ,otherwise loved the stay ,would definitely recommend

The two-bedroom family foom only has one bathroom, that could be inconvenient for a 4 to 5 people family. Breakfast didn't have many options.

Surrounding environment was absolutely beautiful! Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were big and well maintained. Love the monkeys! Breakfast didn't have many options but every dish was good. Overall, 10 out of 10!

The beds were a little uncomfortable

This place is a little paradise just 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang's main road. The rooms are spacious and clean and the lookout onto the lagoon is so beautiful to wake up to. There are monkeys that live in the surrounding trees and they make an appearance a couple of times a day which made this place even better. It gave it such character because the monkeys are so cheeky! The restaurant has great dinner options and there's a kayaks on site so you can do that around the lagoon. 100% will be back!

Give a smile, get a smile. The staff was very friendly and shows many interest for the wellbeing. Had nice contact and conversations with them. The location of the room was great, with the view on the lagoon and the other rooms around it. Rooms clean, and facilities are complete. Ceiling fan and airco were welcome to make it comfortable during warm days. Breakfast and diner had sufficient assortment for bread, fruits, drinks and warm food. Enjoyed the confrontation with monkeys , adopting this resort of their habitat.
