Not a dislike but an FYI for travellers with a lot of luggage or big suitcases that there are no lifts

Pissamorn House felt more like a home than ‘accommodation’ which I loved about the place. Right in the middle of Old Town Square, with everything within walking distance or a quick scooter ride away. Old styled house with clean facilities. Communal kitchen and living space for use. Pissamorn (host) was very friendly and extremely helpful upon arrival (I had no plans for my trip and she gave me a quick itinerary as soon as I got in :)).

The lobby is very echoey so it would be great if other guests could observe respectful quiet times but that isn’t any fault of owners (just inconsiderate guests)

Amazing host/owner. She speaks multiple languages so chances are she can communicate with you directly. So hospitable in providing free coffee, tea, and snacks. Lovely community sitting area downstairs. Host has lots of tips on anything you may need. Room was great with an AC that works efficiently.

    Nothing.

Peaceful and quiet, but very central: set one street back from the hustle and bustle. Mrs P is very knowledgeable and interesting. The property is traditional furniture, but unlike other Thai beds, hers are softer and very comfortable. Water, coffee and snacks are included.

The lighting in the bedroom was not suited to reading in bed - which probably was only an issue because I developed a bad cold and stayed in the room for an entire day. Bathroom taps needed a bit of attention but this was not a big issue.

The location within the Old City was great. Pissamorn, the hostess, was wonderfully helpful re information and suggestions as how best to explore Chiang Mai and the surrounding area. The tea/coffee station with books and brochures, plus tables to sit at while looking through the material, was very useful. In the bedroom the bed and bedding were soo comfortable. Unless really hot and muggy the fan was more than adequate to keep the room cool.

The first time it was difficult to find at night

Perfect location in the middle of the old town, everything is within walking distance, the Sunday night market is right outside the door with a 7 Eleven only a few meters away. I have never met such a nice and helpful person as Pissamon and her son. She helped me with all my problems and she speaks many languages, so communication was not a problem at all. The house was very well maintained and the rooms were equipped with everything you could need. There was always water, bananas and tea for everyone. I booked a tour through Pissamon to an elephant sanctuary and a waterfall, which I can only recommend. Pissamon House is an absolute must if you are visiting Chiang Mai. I will definitely come back!

Nothing to share here! The property matched our expectations. We just loved the owner, too. To note: it is an older house. If you have a physical disability and cannot walk up and down stairs, you may wish to find another property.

Location, Location, Location!!! This guesthouse is just perfect for exploring Chiang Mai. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you're well taken care of. Very comfortable and clean, complimentary coffee and snacks. We loved it!

The house is ideally situated in the center ! The room is spacious and the bathroom has the all the necessities. AC works good and is not too loud! Also placement is perfect as the street is very calm. We highly recommend this place if you're coming with your friends or family and you're looking for a cozy and centered place to stay!

The only negative is that there is no onsite car parking - you park in the temple next door, but the gates are closed 8pm - 6am. I guess your car is secure at least!

The delightful hostess made our stay an absolute pleasure. She was thoughtful, helpful and treated us like family. The hotel is a wonderful homely boutique stay with tasteful decor and all the facilities you might need. The room was quite and the bed comfy. Even the balcony felt "like home" with potplants giving it a home feel. Located walking distance to all the old town attractions - longest walk to the TongBar for an evening live music night took 20 minutes

Clean and very comfy bed/pillow. Super quiet area. Great location in old town. Super fast WiFI. The ‘one and the only one’ Mrs Pissamorn welcome you sincerely with four different languages 👍. She asked what I like to do in Chiangmai and tailored the daily motorbike activities as well as following up how it went. . I felt like I have a new sister in Thailand. I would rate my experience at her homestay 11/10 because of her ❤️
