Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

This property was lovely! Attentive staff, amazing pool, decent sized rooms, decent water pressure. Parking next to bungalow was a huge bonus. Lovely breakfasts, far enough away from other bungalows so you did not feel disturbed. I cannot fault our stay at all! We were one of 3 bookings so it was super quiet!

IrelandWe were in the older cabins by the mountains. Noise from outside can be annoying at night and in the mornings. We also had ants in our room that were coming from the AC unit. It didn't annoy us too much but we needed to contact staff to get bug spray and clean them up.
Staff were very friendly and the location is very peaceful outside of town. Pool is a nice option for relaxing after a long day. Mr Chang is very helpful and can offer taxi into town for 100 baht. Wifi is very good and the breakfast was nice too. It is good value for money in my opinion. You need a scooter or car to get around which we planned to do anyway.

United KingdomWater pressure a bit low at times as was the wifi in the standard compared to the deluxe but did not trouble me at all.
I extended my stay at this lovely resort for another 5 nights and so pleased I did moving from the deluxe to a standard bungalow which was smaller but more intimate and a fav view of the hills. Can't fault this resort and would definitely return if in the area again. The standard is perfect for 1 or 2 people but the deluxe as double the room as the standard and I was more than happy with the standard.

United KingdomHonestly nothing
Great breakfast each morning with the hotel preparing individual breakfast for you unless there are a large number of guests when prepared as a buffet. Excellent location near to Pai Canyon and an easy scooter ride either into town or out to the Bamboo Bridge, Pai Canyon, Big Buddha statue etc. The location overlooking the hills at breakfast is just fantastic, very relaxing and pool is great too. A scooter is recommended to get into town although the owner very kindly took us in/out of town on several occasions in the evening for which we were very grateful as well as collecting us from and taking us back to the town bus point (Aya) for transportation to Chiang Mai Thorough recommend and would definitely return if in the area another year

BelgiumOne of the hosts speaks little to no English. There was confusion around offering to rent a scooter, then dropping us off at a rental place to go figure out.
Schuttle service is handy, unclear when it rides though.

Netherlandsfantastic location in the fields overlooking the surrounding hills. Pool, some sort of WiFi and the sweetest pack of dogs one can wish for. Yes, the power goes out now and then. Like in the rest of Pai during raining season. And it’s no five star Love Boat resort. But the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Get a bike, give it a day, settle down and get creative and you will find yourself on a small piece of Eden.

Pleasant resort close to the main road. We got upgrade of the bungalow. The standard bungalows are a bit small, but the more expensive ones are quite nice, quiet and nice view over the valley with rice paddy's. The pool is average. So is the breakfast. But overall a pleasant experience.

AustraliaThe reception was not unfriendly but not professional. Upon our arrival, the first response (without any greetings) of the reception was "All booked. No vacancies" (said in Thai but my friend is a Thai). We said we have already booked a room through Booking.com. The room I booked was not we got (not even like the one we booked). But we didn't worry much because it was only a single night. We had to switch off the AC unit as it was making a noise and was impossible to sleep. Bathroom/Toilet is outdated. Not a room to have a relaxing night. I am not sure about the other rooms but this one we stayed cannot be recommended.
Location is was good for our requirements. The room was next to the pool (but we e didn't use it)
