A warm welcome from Norn who is a real gem! The building is gorgeous, there’s no other word for it. Beautifully decorated (the husband is a carpenter and it shows). I loved it! Such attention to detail. Bed is wonderfully comfortable. Best sleep in Thailand for me so far. Fresh fruit and toast for breakfast with hot drinks available. I’d give it 5 stars! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Location is amazing, walking distance from the night market and a few temples. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Shower was also great, with good water pressure and temperature, which is not a given in Thailand

Lights in the room no 6 were dimmer than my liking.

Central location close to the airport. Night market nearby. The staff is ok and cooperative. I got free early checkin at 10am. The lights in room no 6 needs to brighten up a bit. You get free cookies, bread, jam, tea and coffee that you can make yourself from the pantry in the morning for breakfast. I wish there was butter too. Overall I am Happy with the place and will return.

only negative is that there were a few ants coming in through the sliding doors but if you keep the room clean it's not a problem. the bathroom was a bit dark too.

we had the rooftop room and it was utterly gorgeous! the view of chiang mai and the mountain was breathtaking. lovely free breakfast, refilled water, great location. the garden was so relaxing and peaceful.

We arrived there during Songkran festival and were exuberantly greeted by the whole family around their dinner! Large room with all amenities, free water everyday, balcony with street view, rooftops, and Temple roof tops. We rode the bicycles freely available tho visit the surroundings and even to the local dinner & show at the Old Chiang Mai cultural centre. Self-service cafe with cookies and local rice cakes available. Gave us a very relaxed sensation during our stay in Chiang Mai.

The air conditioning was weak and took a while to cool down the room, but it didn't affect our stay and the room was comfortable.

Bathroom in the second room had a bit moldy smell, hope they will work on it at some point because the place and rooms a really nice :-)

Nice styled and clean rooms, we specially enjoyed the rooftop rooms with the terrace, good hang out areas, free water refill, free toast, cookies, bananas, coffee, tea for breakfast, friendly staff, good location in a short walking distance of old town; We liked the place so much that we came back for three nights after our roadtrip in the north!

It could get very humid in the kitchen and living areas especially in April and May, but the AC solves it.

The rooms we booked were spot clean and the deluxe room was spacious. The location is just a few minutes walk from the south side of the Old City, which includes Wua Lai Walking Street and the Best Khao Soi (yum!). Not stated in the fine print, but they also offer free small breakfast including toast, pastry, and coffee, and you can use their bikes as well for free! Lastly, the owners were so warm and friendly and can communicate very well. Highly recommended for groups and families, big or small.

Everything was great at Norn Nanta House. Our room was on the top floor (great views across the city) and the bed was very comfy. We also made use of the rooftop sun loungers There is no lift in the building, so it was a bit of a struggle on arrival with our suitcases, but the owner kindly helped us to carry our bags upstairs. This in no way should stop you from choosing the excellently located and spotlessly clean Norn Nanta House. Complimentary bread, biscuits & fruit were available at breakfast and complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate throughout the day. Also there is a good selection of soft drinks/beer available to buy at the reception. There are also free bicycles to use. The family owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We hired a car, and they ensured parking was made available for us. 10/10. Thank you for a great stay 👍

Nothing bad to say!

The location!!! Was just outside the old town (about a 5 min walk) so had the nice quiet side as well as easy access to the busier parts. Free fruit, tea and coffee and a water refill station which was a lovely touch. The staff were so nice and so helpful too! We had one of the very top rooms which had a little terrace from which we watched the most beautiful sunset. There were free bicycles too, although we never used them. If we were to come back to Chiang Mai we’d definitely stay here again!

Parking a bit tricky if ypu bring a car.

The location is super convenient! Walkable to many attractions. There is a saturday night market near by , only 5 minutes walk! Coffee shop, street food, all around. Great for traveler on budget. They also provide some snack, drinking water filling station with hot and cold option, less plastic usage.

No after hours desk so late check in can be a bit of a pain. Walls have absolutely zero insulation, so gets very noisy, especially during breakfast time.

The shower took a little figuring out but was pretty straight forward once we worked it out. Maybe a little sign or instruction would be useful but other than that everything was amazing.

Check-in was super straight forward with helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean & the bathroom looked new and was also very clean. Loved the little balcony looking out over the town & mountains, where we watched sunset and drank a beer from our room. Breakfast bits were also a really nice touch, with tea, coffee and filtered water available.

Great location and amazing views from the top balcony especially at sunset! Great view of the planes coming in and out of Chiang Mai airport. Free toast, biscuits and bananas in the morning was great addition! Would definitely stay again☺️
