our room was at the very top of the hill behind the hostel, which is not what was shown in the pictures. we expected to stay beachfront but got there and had to carry our 16kg backpacks up the hill. the fan in the room was not strong and so we did not sleep well in the heat.

the location was lovely. right off the touristy spots but still busy enough to be fun. shark bay only a short walk away. we enjoyed the pool/beach area and local restaurants too.

Amazing place to stay. Located right at the beach and is near to other beaches and bays. They provide a taxi service or bike rental. The restaurant they have is delicious. It's great to have your meal right at the beach. The staff was really helpful and so friendly and open. They tell you everything you need to know about the island and where to go. I highly recommend the diving experience. Despite that my girlfriend is not a good swimmer and it was her first dive, but our dive instructor did his job so well. I would definitely dive here again.

Very close to main busy road (main island road runs between the rooms and the restaurant/beach area) with lots of street noise. Not enough places to sit by the beach or the pool as the restaurant is very busy with walk in guests

Since the rooms are directly above the public and highly frequented restaurant with pool to noisy and crowded for me, music is running from 9 to 9, but I have to admit it was a very tasteful choice of international lounge music :-)

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location was amazing and the restaurant /bar attached to the dive school was very nice and comfortable. We did our open diving certification while there and it was great! We had Dia as our instructor and she was amazing! Highly recommend!

Our room was the very last room at the top of what felt like 100’s of steps which was tough with two big suitcases! And also the no air con made for some nights with little sleep. Felt for the price could have had air con included.

Really loved being able to use the pool, such a nice setting we used it every day and loved the chill area of the cafe! Room was very nice just way too hot without air on - a fan is not enough in this heat! Lovely staff, would stay again just with air con next time!!

While the beech is fantastic to look at it is no good for swimming / snorkling as it is so shallow. The next bay along is great for snorkling (for a small fee) so not much of a problem.

What a lovely location - fantastic to have access to the sunbeds, swimming pool, and cafe. Just a short moped ride from the main town. Nice places to eat all around.

The hilltop rooms had a lot of stairs but fine if you are fit and healthy

We had a room with just a fan (no aircon) and it was too warm (we are from NZ) however the staff happily moved us to a room with aircon and payed the difference (staff very accommodating). Staff were very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions on where to go and what to do. The pool was very clean and a lovely view.

The room was quite small for travellers, limited space to put anything. The internet was not good in the rooms and the noise from the downstairs cafe was loud throughout the day, but did always end by 10pm.
