Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EstoniaMuthi Maya is an amazing getaway from busy Bangkok. It's very close to Khao Yai national park. Sure! The property is beautifully maintained with stunning views and luxurious amenities. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. The villa was spacious and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The on-site facilities, including the private pool and breakfast options, were top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a serene setting.

ThailandThe location is quite far from the entrance, comparing to Atta and Kirimaya. So, it takes about 5-10 minutes to reach the place. However, this makes MUTHI MAYA very quiet which is good for a private vacation.
I like almost everything at this place. So, I have visited MUTHI MAYA for many times during the past 5 years. It is a real relaxation and good energy after spending 2 nights at the pool villa.

SingaporeBreakfast spread could be wider.
The room and pool were spotless and new, perfect for families with young kids. The view was beautiful and tranquil, surrounded by greenery and private. The huge bath tub was a kids dream too. Really couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect.

Thailand1. Interiors getting old (not about visual design, but shabby materials and patch-type renovations… Should make more tidy renovation or reduce the price. I’m designer and i love beautiful things, but when i see some sloppy stuff i can’t fully relax. 2. During the stay (3 nights) no one threw away the empty bottle of sanitizer lying on the lobby-house path. 3. Pepsi instead of Coca-cola :)) This is more for a joke, of course. but I would like healthier drinks and snacks for this type of hotel.

SwedenThis place is absolutely amazing. One of the most beautiful resorts I have ever been! The location is fantastic, the view from the room was lovely. The villas are huge and the furniture very comfortable and elaborate. The decoration was beautiful, very tasteful. Loved the private pool. The restaurants in the resort (visited the Thai and the Japanese) are world class.

ThailandStay here many times already, I feel the service level has been dropped. Firstly, we told the housekeeper on the first day of how many bottles of water we want for a day, but they kept forgetting and we had to ask for more water every day when we came back from outside. Secondly, after the cleaning, we still found hair in the sink, like the sink has not cleaned at all. Thirdly, the housekeeper took our bathrobes and not replacing them for 2 days in a row and we had to keep asking every day. Lastly, the day we checked out and left the hotel already, we found out that the room cards were still with us so we called the hotel to tell them. At that time, we were about 40 mins away from the hotel and were having lunch, the girl who answered our call was a bit rude, she told us to drive back to return the room cards or we had to mail the room cards back to them, otherwise they would charge us for the room cards. It is not that I did not want to comply, but just that she seemed so cold, a bit rude, and really no empathy. I felt like it was 50% her fault too not to ask for the room cards back during the check-out. It should be in their protocol. Anyway, a few minutes later, someone called back and told us that we could give them back the room cards next time we go to the hotel because we have been frequent guests at their hotel. All these little incidents annoyed us as we were having a vacation and expected to enjoy a peaceful stay. However, we still love the place. It is quiet and staff at the restaurants or the ones who drove the golf cart are nice.
The location, secluded and so peaceful. We love the fresh air and hotel facilities.

United StatesNothing we did not like.
The pool villa unit we stayed at had the yard / patio facing part of Khao Yai plus one golf course hole and was absolutely wonderful to just sit, relax and unwind. We can hear all kinds of birds in the distance and little critters once in a while. The rooms are very roomy and very well appointed. The sofa bed couch in living room was superb. The dinner at Tani Japanese teppanyaki wagyu was great, and buggy service all throughout. Will definitely try another Kirimaya property! Kudos to both staff and management!
