Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Czech RepublicI visited this hotel/hostel 15 years ago and anything hasn't changed! Hotel is located in a quite backyard out of busy and lively Soi Rambuttri Road. Legendary Khao San Rd. is very very close.

Good location, if you want to stay in Old city - away from the street, with nice separate yard, you don't hear a noises from the night life on the Rambuttri Road. Also was good to have right there restaurant with wide breakfast offer. Stuff was friendly and responsive. Room quite a small but in our case with balcony, what makes stay more pleasant. Having a complimentary water was a nice bonus.

PolandVery thin walls, you can hear everything even a sneeze. We had very loud neighbors a few rooms away and we couldn't sleep at night. They were yelling in the middle of the night and the staff didn't react (well, we asked the loud people to be more quiet but we didn't ask the staff to do something).
The location was the best.

Very nice location, just in the night life spots, but not noisy at all. Also very convenient for having an embeded restaurant. Room was decent! Having two bottlea of water per day for free was a nice bonus

AustraliaI made the mistake of booking a single fan room (with windows) for my first 2 nights not thinking what an oven it would become with the sun beating down through both windows.It was uncomfortable for sleeping but lesson learnt and I won't stay in those particular rooms again. Problem solved.
Lamphu House is my Go-To whenever I visit Bangkok. Booking in advance is a necessity as it is fully booked most of the time. I love the fact that it is a private oasis in the middle of a bustling area of old Bangkok. There is a spacious courtyard that is again totally private and quiet. Services provided are excellent. One can store ones luggage for free after checking out if ones flight is later in the night,and it is just a stones throw away from the S1 bus which goes to the airport for just 60 baht.
