Great hotel, wonderful views

The bed has a mosquito net around it, we didnt use it but we felt some skin rash from it even touching us a little bit Breakfast was not good, not the quality or the variety

The resort is vey beautiful, its like your in a jungle - be ware that there are some funky noises from all the animals at night The beach is very nice!!! and its private The restaurent has really good food for lunch and dinner, but breakfast was very disappointing. Its like its not even the same people making the food. We were in a very nice private cabana and had a great time.

The room was not clean (we found hair from previous guest the first day we arrive and a lot of dust) even though we had room service every day.

I would revamp the breakfast menu and refine the cuisine in general.

The staff was incredibly hard-working, sweet, and kind. The ocean-view villa (n. 15) was very charming and furnished with great attention to detail. Bonus point for the school of baby black-tip sharks swimming near the snorkelling deck every day! It was a magic stay.

The hotel is beautiful. The beach, pool, Rim Lae restaurant, the walkways to the cabins and even the toilets are all lovely. The staff in the Rim Lae restaurant make the hotel even better, they are wonderful. The food in the Rim Lae restaurant is excellent. Just make sure you’re aware that the cabins are nestled in nature so there will be insects! That comes with the location!

Beautiful clean private room with an amazing sea view. Lovely clear shallow sea off of the resort’s beach with free paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling equipment. Stunning pool too. Staff were amazing, super friendly and welcoming

Would be nice to have table with chairs on the sunset view area to enjoy a glass of wine. Could use more breakfast options without gluten (bread, soy sauce). The noise coming from the nightly pub crawls in Sairee beach was very loud and could be heard until 2 am.

Beach view was amazing, could walk down the rocks right in to the water. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The sunset view area was beautiful. Breakfast was good, loved the banana in coconut milk and the cinnamon Burmese pork.

The hotel is situated on the most beautiful/prestigious beach of the island; the sun beds are a dream; the snorkeling is great; the staff is helpful and always ready to help; excellent breakfast options; just a few minutes away from restaurants. Be prepared as you will be surrounded by wildlife too

Noise from the beach bars travels but with ear plugs it’s fine and the hotel is set at one end of the bay and feels secluded. No gym.

The 2 bedroom treehouse was amazing and one of the most unique, beautiful places we’ve stayed. The view was incredible, accommodation spacious and the kids loved the rope bridge to access. Beautiful beach with cabanas and restaurant was very good.

The restaurant location and view was really good but the food was not great, breakfast was below basic. One morning they served noodles that were burnt. For such a nice hotel we expected a much better restaurant and breakfast. Staff was kind and friendly.

From the detailed introduction and warm welcome by the polite staff, the vast gardens that are nicely curated -but not too polished to lose their natural look- to the fantastic room, everything was as perfect as possible. The rooms have a natural feel and aesthetics to the tiniest detail, such as the A/C covered with wood, the locks, furniture and literally everything. Bonus points for the refillable amenities (no single-use plastic little bottles) and for the kind staff at the restaurant that took the time to refill our water bottles each time we asked so that we would avoid using plastic bottles (that are provided on complimentary basis anyway in the room along with tea & coffee). Breakfast was also super satisfying with a nice variety and one of the best coffees I tried on the island. This is a serene oasis with the best staff ever, thank you so much for making our stay so special!

No hot water in the room most of our stay of 5 days, even though we complained about it many times. No happy hours for cocktails.

The most amazing accommodation on Koh Thao! At the corner of the main beach, nestled on the rocks in the gungle. Huts and villas in local decor but with Modern amenities! Magnificent pool with waterfalls overlooking the beach and the mountains. Private beach with sunbeds, kayaks and SUPs free of charge for hotel guests to use. Our family villa was huge with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living and dining rooms and two terraces (one of them rooftop with grill facilities). Absolutely stunning. Aircon was good. Breakfast also, though a bit slow as partly it was a la carte.

Room service via WhatsApp! Right on the beach. Cabana felt very private. Beautiful balcony. Gorgeous room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Not a really good spot for snorkeling

The resort is really beautiful, we stay at Makam Villa with private entrance to the beach, the rooms and bathrooms are big, the beach is nice, we enjoyed kayaking and paddling in the evening when the see is calm.

It was the third time we spent our vacation at the Cabana Resort. This time toowe were very happy. Beautiful location of the resort, very kind staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful sea. The staff granted me my request to have a bungalow as close to the sea as I have difficulty walking, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
