The most welcoming and very helpful service. Room is very clean and a nice smell, very comfortable bed and clean beddings. Buffet breakfast have more than enough to choose from and it was delicious! Great location!👍👌🤩❤️❤️

Nothing. It is good to know that this location is perfect to start the tours in khao sok. Besides that there is nothing to do around the hotel. The hotel offers everything you need for this 1-2 night.

All the information the hotel gave is before we arrived to make it a good stop voor our lake tour. They arranged the tour and the transfer after the tour to Phuket. Because of this we didn’t lose to much time and everything fits perfectly in the program. The staff was very friendly and familiair in a good way.

I had bungalow 5 which was literally just a bed and bathroom. This was fine until a day of monsoon rain where I had nowhere to sit apart from on the end of the bed. Just a minor gripe.

The location was perfect for visiting Khao sok national park. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent both the breakfast at the 200 and the dinner in the evening.

Nothing, pretty much perfect.

The staff and especially our host (Jin) were wonderful. She is a great cook too. Definitely eat something there if you have the chance. The garden and the bungalows are very beautiful. We especially recommend the tubing adventure.

Friendly lady (Yim?) at reception who looked after all our needs. Nice breakfast. Problem with air con but they fixed it in the end. No offer of compensation though. Lovely huts in the jungle.

We were missing some fresh vegetables for breakfast and the menu did not state the extra 17% charge for every order from the menu.

The staff was super welcoming and warm. The swimming pool was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed very much and didn't want to leave! Highly recommended! We also took the 2 day tour to the lake from the hotel and paid extra than the other tours so we got a big room with private bathroom and electricity on site.

It was a bit of a drive to the lake cruise. Unfortunately it was quite wet when we visited, but it was the wet season and this is understandable, however due to it being wet and limited access to the balcony, the room we were in didn't have any sort of view from it. If you are out and about all of the time this probably wouldn't be a concern.

The staff were very helpful and friendly on anything we needed, access to the national park was close. I would recommend to anyone staying here to eat at the resort, the curries were some of the best I've ever had. Breakfasts were good.

The trip we booked via the hotel said we will visit the elefant sanctuary which is rated very good and the elefants are roaming free on all recessions (I hope it is also like this in the rest of the day). No riding, no tricks, just following them on the area and feeding snacks. Unfortunately we were sent to another elefant area which was not like expected. Elefants were kept directly on the street with no space to move, roped on a tree. The say in the recessions they are allowed to stay in the jungle but I do not believe this. I think the nice lady from the hotel just wanted us to see the elefants and sanctuary was not available at this time of the day. So it was generally nice from her to search somewhere else, but we wished to know better before where we will go. She said they have different providers, but we also did not think about it twice. Our fault also. Please tell the people better where it goes. Thanks. And to all the people, read ratings of the elefant locations that you really just „support“ the elefant retirement area with your money and not force them to do anything for you. It seems like the elefant sanctuary is a place like that but the others not.

I got to the hotel much earlier than expected, and the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. They even let me check in early, which is pretty unusual. The room I got was spotless, and the bed was super cozy. For breakfast, I had a delicious meal of scrumptious pancakes and an amazing cup of coffee. The food was top-notch. The employees were all amiable and ready to assist with any questions I had about the nearby area. The highlight of my stay was the couple who runs the hotel, Mrs. Meaw and Mrs. Yim.

An oasis. Beautiful rooms, lovely pool and such a warm and friendly welcome. We booked here last minute after our other hotel cancelled last minute. In the centre of the village. Greta food and the best banana milkshake. Yummy.

Being non smokers, we were accused of smashing an ashtray outside of our room and there was an expectation that we pay for it. At first we thought the manager was accusing us of smoking in the room, but we then deciphered that she said the maid had said we had smashed an ashtray. There was no ashtray on our balcony when we arrived, so either the guests before us had smashed it or the maid has. I was quite taken aback by the accusation and not really something someone that should be accused of. We didn’t let it dampen an otherwise nice break at Orquideas.

I loved the surroundings and the staff are very helpful, friendly and hardworking.

Breakfast could be better and maybe an umbrella service, but these are peanut points

Our family room was perfect for us and our two teen daughters... the room was beautiful and the resort perfecty located just outside the "centre". So it was nice and quiet and you really got the jungle vibe when sitting on the beautiful balcony. The pool was nice too. Because it was the rainy season we expected rain and Rain we got... so everything stayed a bit damp... what would be an extra are umbrellas which you could borrow from the hotel. We saw many hotel umbrellas but we could not get these. The breakfast could be improved. Other places in the "centre" were better. We booked a river tube tour which was super! It felt like we were alone in the jungle. Quiet drifting, nice small rapids, tree swinging and we saw monkeys and snakes in the trees. We also did a day trip on the lake organised by Panida Ladi and this was really nice. We thought about staying at the floating bungalows however we were so happy that we didn't... the View is great but the rest not so much... food was not so good and forget about lonely quiet night swimming with fantastic views. The swimming section is closed and life vests obliged. Anyway... so you better stay in Las Orquideas ;-)
