Bit over priced and over hyped, since it’s in lonely planet. The bungalows are SUPER simple, bathrooms as well. Some things half broken, flush didn’t work properly. restaurant is ok, beach not so much taken care of. Generally a place with huge potential, but I guess it’s not needed to do something, since it’s always full.

Location was amazing, right on the beachfront. Access to a long beach with hardly anyone else on it. Great local bar and restaurants. Very ' off the beaten track' place. Moped hire available and nice island to explore.

Slight issue with the toilet flushing system, it was very temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay.

Loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and in such an idyllic setting that we extended our stay upon arrival - we knew this was a special place. All the staff were so accommodating, friendly and ready to help (especially when our motorbike ran out of fuel!). The food at the restaurant was so fresh, healthy and we kept going back for more.

Air conditioning in the bungalow would have been great. Had a fan which was amazing but very hot at night.

Fantastic location, so peaceful, wonderful views from verandah. Very clean. Great choice of food in the restaurant. Staff work hard. So relaxed swinging in my hammer CK that I didn't even open my book!

Pillows smelt a bit strange, possibly mould/ damp.

They picked us up on a long tail boat directly off the ferry from Krabi..Dropped me off the same way when leaving. Hired a nice moped from them. Everyone had a smile on their face. Kettle in the room to make coffee.

Not enough light in the toilet. One additional fan would be great as it was a bit too hot . Expect animals to enter the room- lizards, cockroaches, mosquitoes and other ;)

Great location really close to nature ! The superior cottage was very basic but we didn’t expect anything different. The nearby beach is amazing - one of the best we have seen in Thailand. Koh jum is a paradise. Monkeys played on trees in the morning

We liked everything, but if you have problems to walk crazy stairs, then you might not enjoy this place

The location is splendid. The bungalows are basic, but sufficient. The resort is built in a hilly rainforest with direct beach access. For the perfect beach, one needs walk for 200 m. We liked the team, which is very very helpful in all situations. We also liked the food, quite authentic Thai.

By the same token of providing a good means of getting fit. The climbing up and down to the restaurant and beach would not suit a person with poor level of fitness. A noticeable problem was the layer of grit that accumulated on my bed every day. I think the fan was blowing dirt from the jungle or the mosquito netting needed a good wash. In any case there wasn't a big mozzie problem and the grubby net wasn't required.

A paradise island with a bungalow in earshot of lapping waves. The restaurant was excellent. Every meal was fabulous. My bungalow was at the furthest and highest end providing a great boot camp exercise programme and great privacy being on the jungles edge.

I didn't book enough nights and when I asked to stay I was offered a much more expensive concrete air con, smaller than the cheaper hut I'd had and it smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately it was the only one so I didn't stay. All round though, loved this place! Area around nice, beach good too. Efficient and smiley staff.

We had a very peaceful stay. The room was basic, as described, but the proximity to the beach made it value for money. Friendly/helpful staff. Reasonably priced restaurant with plenty of choices of tasty food. We would definitely stay here again.

Food was okay but seemed like it was the same everywhere on the island.

We went there with our 1-year old baby- this place isn't exactly baby-friendly due to all the stairs and open balconies, but we had a great time anyways. The beach right in front is rocky but we found a nice, shady cove where the baby could play and we could dip in between the rocks. The staff was great and went above and beyond to accomodate us and provided an extra fan for the baby. All in all, a great place and great value for money.

The only downside for me was that the Wi-Fi did not work in the room and it was also not very strong in the reception/restaurant area.

Great stay. The location is amazing. It’s right on the beach with a sea view from the restaurant area and some bungalows and you can walk onto the beach from the property. The staff are very nice, the food is great and the rooms are comfortable and very clean.

Perfect location and charming ladies that tried their best to meet our requests despite the language barriers. However, the owner speak a good English and the nature around does the rest. There is not much to do but this is exactly the point of a place like this. There are free kayaks, the restaurant is nice and overall, we had an amazing time in Koh Jum.

We visited with our almost two year old toddler, and from the pictures here on booking or the description it wasn't clear that everything was build on wooden stilts connected with planks, some of which where quite far apart. This was quite hazardous for our child, so I wouldn't recommend this place for families with small children, because the danger of falling down on the cliffs below seemed quite big. In general we liked the location, we would have wished for a better description beforehand though.

Superb location right at the oceanfront with a very nice view. The sun was setting behind Koh Phi Phi, simply stunning. The personell was very friendly, the food in the restaurant good, but we found better places on the island. The beach was not crowded and very nice, don't expect a white sand dream beach, but it's a nice typical Koh Jum beach just a couple of steps away from the hotel. The room and bathroom were very basic, but for the price totally acceptable.

Nothing for that price really. If I could change one thing, I‘d replace all those old plastic chairs outside the bungalows and beach with new ones!

I rate the place highly because its real value for money. We got a bungalow with partial seaview. Its not luxury, but hey, what else can you ask for the price. The restaurant was good and the restaurant terrace is pretty awesome too.

Great PRICE-PERFORMANCE ratio, friendly and very accommodating staff, fast Wifi, location directly at the beach, nearly no infrastructure around hotel, the beach was very suitable for swimming as the water level is always enough.
