The downside is that is in a rural place so it's taxis to get around.

The couple who run it were very friendly and helpful, the guy never stops cleaning.After I checked out he saw me sitting in the restaurant next door and came and asked why I was still there after explaining I'd been trying to get a taxi on grab for 2 hrs ,he phoned one arrived in 10 minutes top bloke.

My bad for not researching properly, but the hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere! It didn’t matter for the purposes of our stay as such (there’s a couple of restaurants next door so it was fine for getting dinner). The only issue arose when we had to try and get a taxi at 5:30am to the town to catch a bus, and there was nothing available. Would’ve been much easier from a central location. It’s close to the airport though if that suits your travel plans.

We only had a very, very brief stay at JC Guesthouse, arriving at 9pm and leaving around 5:30am so can’t say how it would be for a longer stay. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and there was good WiFi and air con. Perfectly comfortable, we both slept really well.

Because the guesthouse is situated at a country road there is quite a high level of noise. For one night and the very affordable price it’s okay though. I couldn’t find any outlets except for behind the tv.

We stayed for one night to take an early flight the next day. There literally is nothing around except for one-three family owned restaurants. The family was extremely friendly and my son and the hosts son were playing together. The room was super clean.

This property is in the middle of nowhere. 45 minute walk to the nearest shop and not even a 7-11 nearby. It was okay for us as we only stayed one night to be near the airport but had to order food to us as literally nothing around

Ant infested room, all over the floor and in the bed. Got bitten during the night due to this No hot water for shower. The shower was basically on top of the toilet, and also leaked into the rest of the bathroom. Sink that leaked Dirty walls Really loud because on the main road and unsafe doors to the outside as they didn’t lock Host did not speak any English. No one downstairs when we left at 7am Provided with a quilt which doesn’t have a cover on it, so basically a communal duvet

Awful from start to finish. Good job I was only staying overnight. My room had hardly any of the facilities listed or shown in photos on description. No hot water in shower (a basic that should be clearly stated if cold water only) No hairdryer No outdoor dining area No satellite/cable TV channels No seating area No dressing room No slippers No hair conditioner No minibar No dining table No socket by bed No kettle No tea/coffee making facilities No hanging space No 24hour front desk One thing it did have which wasn't listed was huge black ants. I went down to reception about 20 minutes after checking in (approx 9:45pm) once I realised no hot water and lots of things missing. Thought they might have made a mistake and put me in the wrong room. Reception was locked up (listed as 24 hour) and no one was answering either of the 2 phone numbers listed on door. Good job it wasn't an actual emergency! After sending text messages I finally got a text back saying "the room you booked is a cheap room. The facilities may not be complete". I don't care if it's a £10 a night room or £500 a night, it should be as described and shown on photos. This is false advertising and I would not have chosen to stay here had I known.
