You had to pay for the sunbeds on the beach. Given that we stayed during high season I felt the restaurant had too few people working there, it took very long sometimes to order food and staff was not very alert. I guess they are making super long days, which is a lot in the heat. They work incredibly hard but if there was more staff I can imagine they can work with less pressure.

Direct access to the beach, breakfast a la carte menu was simple but had everything you needed (oats, fruits, toast, eggs etc.). Beautiful beach and ocean water quality was great, blue waters, amazing snorkeling and fish in the sea. You can also enjoy massages on the beach.

We stayed in the main building where also the reception is. This building has less allure to the ones nearer to the beach. What you get is what you pay for! The pool is large and nice. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff is amazing!

Not much really. There are some rocks and coral in the sea where I cut my foot on day one - so I'd recommend foot protection or taking care in the water. The restaurant is pretty expensive, but so were the others on the beach. I think this is just how things are in the Thai islands these days.

The location is to die for, Koh Pan Ngan is beautiful and this is one of the nicest beaches I've seen there. We had a lovely stay. Initially I was disappointed because I thought the accommodation was more "hut like" and they do have some smaller units, but ours was in a block with maybe 20 other apartments. However I was soon bowled over by the beautiful setting and lovely rooms. The beds are super comfy and the AC powerful. The staff were very helpful. The pool is huge and never felt too busy, and there were usually a few sun beds available. The beach is glorious - not too busy and with lovely warm water, and snorkelling was fun, we saw many fish over the coral. There is a small islet connected via a sand bar but we didn't go that far. And the sunsets! Truly AMAZING 🤩🌅 In summary, we had an absolute blast staying here and would definitely return.

A list of uninviting (not very Thai like) rules; e.g.: if you lose your swimming pool towel you will have to pay, every time you use the swimming pool shower or toilet you need to pay. Slow service at the restaurant/bar near the sea and less friendly staff we’ve been told the restaurant(s) are separate from (not part of) the resort.

Nice clean and spacious rooms with comfy beds. A very pretty and quiet location with a swimming pool and the sea next to each other. Friendly staff at reception.

Far from centre, many families with children. The waitresses in the restaurant are not attemtive and it takes a lot of time to get somewhat ok food.

The air conditioning was switched off every time we left the apartment, and when we returned, the temperature was hot.

We chose a beachfront bungalow, which was absolutely marvelous. In August, the tide is low, making it perfect for swimming.

We didn't like that on the beach of the hotel, just in front of our room, the hotel charges separately for using beach chairs per day. Also we didn't like that it is not possible to lend snorkling mask at the hotel

The restaurant at the hotel needs a lot of work. Food is average at best and the service is very poor - often waiting extended periods just to order. There certainly needs to ve more staff. I’d recommend visiting one of the very nice restaurants just down the road.

Koh Ma is in a greaf location, just a few steps from an amazing beach which links to a small island, great for snorkelling! The room was spacious and excellent, the bed was very comfortable and shower was amazing. We got a free room upgrade which was great. Overall, great value for money!

The staff are just rude and not nice, apparently because there is a lot of tourists that get in the hotel pool but still they get upset on the hotel guests i didnt get it

It is our third time in Koh Ma and it sort of seems we enjoy it less every time unfortunately. Staff is not overly helpful or friendly, quite the opposite actually, food in the restaurant also gets worse every time although it wasn't great from the start.

Location is great, and the huge salt water pool. Rooms are nice.

Beautiful covered dining area on the beach looking out over the sand bar. Good traditional Thai food options. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Nice snorkeling off the beach.

We booked 2 transfers with them. They did not deliver what we agreed to. We booked a boat and mini van from koh phangan to krabi. After the boat we got put into a big bus that was gonna drop us off in surat thani, there we could go in the mini van to Krabi. On arrival in surat thani we had to wait for half an hour and than we got a big bus again?! So the route was way longer than a direct drive, and we didn't get the mini van that was promised. Do NOT book any transfers at this hotel. They are expensive and not worth it.

I found the staff in the restaurant not very friendly or helpful. No one came to help when I was trying to put up a parasol. I’m nearly 60 years old and on my own so it would have been nice to get some assistance.

The pool was lovely and the food was good. The room was very nice and clean and had a good shower.
